We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our growing marketing team. Reporting to the Director of Marketing Planning, the Marketing Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating digital and print projects according to timelines and budgets. Building and managing project teams, reporting, and ensuring quality throughout project lifecycles are central to this position.
As Project Manager, you will consistently deliver exceptional service through excellent project management and will be an integral part of the overall marketing team responsible for managing, supporting, and/or executing the coordination of marketing initiatives. They will be responsible for managing several programs at a time. This position requires excellent communication and collaboration skills, as the projects will often span departments and require action from external stakeholders.

What you will do
- Manage multiple simultaneous end-to-end projects of high complexity, multi-channel, marketing campaigns across the marketing team focused on different audience groups from initiation to closure
- Build project plans including a project schedule to identify when each task will be performed
- Develop and assign deliverables to set timelines
- Monitor project workflows to determine if the tasks will be completed on time
- Adjust deliverables and timelines where necessary according to team priorities
- Resolve any issues and solve problems throughout project lifecycle by assessing risks
- Clearly communicate expectations to team members and stakeholders
- Delegating tasks on projects to team members best positioned to complete them
- Lead, coach, and motivate project team members on a proactive basis
- Onboard third-party vendors and individual contributors, as well as manage the creative production agency partner and agency status meetings
- Develop tools and best practices for project management and execution including process, systems, and documentation
What you will need
- College degree or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years’ work experience in project and/or marketing management
- PMP/PMI Certification is a plus
- Familiarity with different types of marketing and creative projects, and the associated technical aspects including print, social, email, video, media, and advertising
- Familiarity with project management tools and/or software packages
- Demonstrated leadership managing project teams
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with a track record of taking initiative, working independently, think proactively, and achieving deadlines,
- Excellent communication, leadership, problem solving, and analytical skills with stakeholders and other departments
- Experience working in a virtual team working environment, organizing virtual workflow, meeting and check-in cadence, and communication via virtual messaging tools

USGBC is seeking a Senior Marketing Operations Manager to take a leading role in tracking and analyzing logistics for all projects, campaigns and initiatives under the purview of the product marketing team including USGBC, GBCI and Arc programs.
Working with the VP of LEED Marketing, this position has ownership over the asset and content creation process and timelines. They will work directly with the VP of Product Marketing and leadership in all organizational departments to assess needs and ensure they are met in a timely and efficient manner. This position is an integral part of the marketing and communications team and will support all USGBC and GBCI programs to ensure effective representation across the marketplace.
This position is also responsible for managing USGBC and GBCI’s event project management around USGBC’s regional and national events under the USGBC Live event platform, as well as participation in trade shows and other industry events. This role will work closely with marketing leadership, business development, LEED, GBCI, events, and other key teams to support the success of the marketing initiatives and help prove return on investment (ROI).
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to schedule and implement the production and promotion of compelling marketing and communications content (articles, multimedia content, case studies, presentations, infographics, etc.).
- Draft marketing related content to be used in marketing collateral, digital marketing, social media and the event websites.
- Develop and maintain a marketing and communications calendar to support marketing and organizational goals.
- Establish and maintain team project tracking platform.
- Track and report on marketing metrics.
- Keep current with new developments in project management.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (MTD, C&E, etc.) to develop, maintain and implement year-round marketing and communications plans for USGBC events.
- Work in tandem with members of the various USGBC communities and international GBCs to ensure that the local element is well represented and incorporated into events and marketing activities.
- Project manage USGBC’s event and tradeshow strategy including but not limited to: identifying key events, internal team training for attendees, maintain pre- and post-show communication, and event attendance.
- Work cooperatively with key team members, clients and vendors.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS and EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications or Business (Marketing) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of related experience, ideally in event marketing, project management. Demonstrated understanding of the project management processes, strategies, and methods
- Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others
- Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles
- Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality

Compensation
Annual base salary range: $136,000-$156,000, depending on relevant experience. This role will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on both company and individual performance.

The Creative Design Lead, Retail plays an important role in the organization by performing a number of activities related to the company’s retail marketing functions. The role is primarily responsible, under intermittent direction, for the conceptual development, direction, delivery, buy in, and production of visual design of the retail division. The Creative Design Lead will develop and facilitate processes, procedures, and visual guidance for other content roles.
Essential Functions

Qualifications
