Incident Response Engineer

The Cybereason Incident Response Team is hiring talented and motivated engineers and innovators eager to participate in the development of our advanced suite of high-end response tools and services. Focusing on building and supporting the innovative and industry-leading capabilities being actively deployed and explored by the Cybereason Nocturnus IR team, this is a role for those who are passionate about pushing the industry forward and raising the bar for Incident Response.

The Cybereason Nocturnus IR team technical and operations stack embodies the principles of SecDevOps and rapid development, building firmly from practitioner-led experience of overcoming real-world challenges facing Incident Responders. This role requires experience of both IR investigations/digital forensics, and DevOps implementation and process development.

What you will do:

  • Expand and optimize the service-oriented architecture of the Cybereason IR platform to deliver highly robust, scalable, and repeatable analysis techniques to front-line incident responders for a variety of workflows and engagement types
  • Innovate new capabilities and technology integrations such as bleeding-edge data science and threat intelligence approaches using the Cybereason graph.
  • Conduct research into forensic artifacts, behavioural analysis and threat hunting techniques and implement them in the Cybereason IR investigations platform
  • Support and maintain the DevOps backbone of infrastructure and development platforms that underpin the delivery and technical operations processes in Nocturnus IR.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum 8 years of Incident Response or comparable industry experience (threat hunting, threat detection and response, malware analysis, etc)
  • Knowledge and experience of:
  • at least one scripting or development language (ideally Python and Golang)
  • Cloud-native CI/CD platforms (such as Google Kubernetes Engine, Amazon EKS, or Oracle OKE)
  • Remote Incident Response and forensic toolkits, such as GRR, Osquery, and Velociraptor
  • Forensic Investigations of at least one major OS family (Windows, Mac OS, *nix)

…and at least two of the following:

  • Digital forensics (disk and memory collection & analysis)
  • Network Security Monitoring (NSM), network traffic analysis, and log analysis
  • Static and dynamic malware analysis
  • Threat Hunting with EDR
  • Data Science with Jupyter, Pandas, etc
  • Threat Intelligence and adversary tracking

Additional Qualifications:

  • Ability to document and explain technical details in a concise, understandable manner
  • Ability to manage and balance own time among multiple tasks

About the Role:

Our Business Intelligence team is looking for a BI Data Engineer who is passionate about data, analytics, and business strategy. You will help the team learn more about our business, teach others in the company about analytics, and improve the use of our data. You’ll be an integral part of providing data-driven insights that inform significant company decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Build data pipelines and python-based ETL tools for getting, processing, and delivering data
  • Develop and optimize data models/schemas in our data warehouse that enable performant, intuitive analysis
  • Generate end to end reporting solutions (from data ingestion to dashboards)
  • Work with business leaders to define key metrics and reporting requirements
  • Conduct in-depth data analyses that improves infrastructure and product performance
  • Become an expert on all aspects of Credible’s data and analytics infrastructure
  • Be the driving force behind the adoption and effective use of our BI tool within every team at Credible

Education and Experience:

  • BA/BS in a quantitative field
  • 3-5+ years of work experience as a data engineer, or in a highly analytical role
  • Experience writing SQL queries and using a BI tool
  • Experience with programmatic scripting using Python to develop ETL pipelines and tooling
  • Experience using the command line and git
  • Strong grasp of statistics and experience conducting rigorous data analyses
  • Experience developing models and visualizations in Looker a plus
  • Experience at an e-commerce or fintech company a plus

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $100,800 – $133,200 annually for California, New York City, and Westchester County, NY; $84,000 – $111,000 annually for Colorado and Washington. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.

OVERVIEW

The Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Email Development Specialist, is part of the company s Digital Lab, and will be an integral part to drive our emails’ overall design and development.

The perfect candidate will develop and maintain our email module library and collaborate on the strategic vision and path for email marketing to support the overall business. Core required capabilities include leveraging SFMC Content Builder, HTML/CSS, AMP for Email, AMPscript, dynamic content, customer data, and email best practices to develop a best-in-class customer experience.
The main responsibilities for this role are to (1) lead the rollout of the email module library to creative agency, brand, and strategy stakeholders; (2) intake and manage new module or existing module optimization requests; (3) build or adjust modules leveraging SFMC Content Builder.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build, test and deploy personalized email marketing modules via SFMC Content Builder.
  • Develop Content Builder email templates and respective content blocks; requires strong HTML/CSS, AMP for Email, AMPscript, Guide Template Language, Server-Side JavaScript
  • Connect content to corresponding data extensions for personalization, and dynamic capability, and reporting
  • Lead the socialization and roll out of the email module library to stakeholders across the organization and key agency partners
  • Own and manage ongoing requests for new modules or updates to existing content
  • Respond to common business requirements and perform basic administrative functions within Marketing Cloud with support of the SFMC administrator
