Must haves:

  • 3-4+ years Vanilla JavaScript, HTML , CSS, understanding of bootstrap, web development experience.
  • 3-4+ years’ experience working in CMS environment ( Content Management System ). It could be any CMS. (Need to know how to develop in a CMS by using its platform and what restrictions it has)
  • Communication skills and good personality, needs to be able to speak to the business partners who are non-technical and be able to speak technically, this is not an application developer role. they will be participating in communicating with the business and understanding their needs
  • Not too seasoned, junior enough to want to grow and learn how to develop in this role
  • Any experience on their resume that shows they have an eye for visual design
  • Strong Marketing background.
  • Must be someone who likes to fix problems (never let the machine beat you type of mentality)
  • Understanding of Mobile breakpoints.
  • Someone who comes from a highly regulated environment would be helpful
  • Looking for someone Jr 4-7 years, doesn’t really want someone with much more than that
  • Looking for someone who gets enthusiastic about solving problems, not just someone who sits in a basement and writes code
  • Must know JQuery as this is what they use to determine functionality.

  • Experience: A comprehensive background in quality engineering and SRE. Experience as a Test Engineer preferred. 8+ years of experience in engineering, automation, and IaaS.
  • Web Experience: 2+ years of experience setting up the automation model for web based applications and web services.
  • Coding Expertise: Strong programming and IaC skills in Terraform, Ruby (or Elixir), React, TypeScript.
  • CICD Expertise: Solid knowledge in CICD tools like CircleCI.
  • Cloud Expertise: Strong knowledge of AWS and Docker.
  • System Design: Proficient in infrastructure design with a strong engineering background
  • QA Expertise: Excellent understanding of test methodologies, including automation, functional, qualitative, and performance testing against consistently iterative development.

About the Team:

We are a group of 12 engineers from startups and established companies alike. About the role

We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to grow our existing smart giving products that help nonprofits solicit non-cash gifts from appreciated securities such as stocks and cryptocurrency, as well as launch new and innovative solutions to the market. You’ll help position our offerings for success, translating user research and market insights to increase engagement and product adoption.

This role will lead cross-functional collaboration across Marketing, Product, Sales and Partner Success to ensure all customer-facing teams are knowledgeable advocates for the value of FreeWill products and are armed with the resources they need to help our nonprofit clients use them successfully. This role reports to our VP of Marketing and is fully remote.

FreeWill has set compensation and a non-negotiation policy for fairness reasons (we don’t think that an individual’s pay should be determined by how comfortable they are negotiating). As a result, we like to be transparent and up front about the compensation. When we make an offer, we provide multiple options so that employees can choose between compensation packages that prioritize salary or stock options. The offers for this role will be between $115,000 and $125,000.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with product managers, UX design, marketing, sales and partner success teams to release new products and features effectively while driving adoption and retention
  • Develop pricing, packaging, positioning and messaging that includes meaningful value propositions for products by audience and personas
  • Drive high-impact product launches to demonstrate innovation and ultimately drive new revenue
  • Develop deep relationships with product management and revenue leadership to become a trusted advisor and the voice of the customer across the company
  • Create GTM and adoption playbooks for consistency while maintaining flexibility, continuously honing market placement and packaging of FreeWill’s products
  • Own competitive research and share insights and product gaps with internal teams

  • Work with product designers and researchers to maintain consistent language and brand voice across all B2B and B2C products
  • Distill and share key win/loss learnings from sales cycles in order to improve our messaging, product roadmap, competitive positioning and go to market
  • Leverage data and insights to continuously iterate on positioning and messaging

Required Skills and Experience

  • 4+ years product marketing experience that includes messaging and positioning, competitive intelligence, product launch management, sales enablement, and leveraging customer and market insights to inform product roadmap, marketing programs and GTM strategy.
  • 2+ years of product marketing experience for SaaS products
  • Strong background in leading successful, cross-functional GTM efforts particularly pricing and packaging with stellar stakeholder management skills
