The Learning Designer will play a key role in designing and ideating our Tech Manager Development program and Learning Labs. Our focus is on impact and experimentation, creating a world-class program that enables organizational excellence. We’re employing best practices from learning science while experimenting with techniques like experiential, project-based and cohort-based learning.. The ideal candidate is confident in their ability to develop scalable learning experiences that drive overall growth and development. You will demonstrate your deep expertise in learning theory and design standard methodologies to propose innovative learning solutions that can be delivered at scale.

A Typical Day

  • Design learning experiences, create tools and resources, and script content with innovation and creativity at the forefront
  • Fine-tune and determine how to scale learning experiences as we experiment and implement
  • Serve as a Learning Design expert for the larger Tech L&D team, consulting on learning experience design for our DataU, EngU, Connect, Bootcamp, and other programs
  • Create content for in-person and online environments, both synchronous and asynchronous
  • Collaborate closely with our Director or Tech L&D on development of learning plans and experiences to align with overall strategy

Your Expertise

  • 7+ years of experience in a learning or instructional design role
  • Expertise in Learning Science, Learning Design, Instructional Design or Curriculum Design
  • Experience developing learning experiences for leadership development programs, ideally for engineering audiences
  • Ability to bolster and creativity and innovation within the team
  • Experience designing technical learning experiences for software engineers and/or data scientists
  • Experience developing content for in-person and online environments, both synchronous and asynchronous
  • Experience creating scripts and storyboards
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical abilities to identify and frame issues, synthesize information, and draw insightful conclusions
  • Exceptional project management and organization skills: you are detail oriented with the ability to move multiple projects to the finish line at the same time and on schedule
  • Great communication and collaboration skills and the ability to create and foster strong relationships
    Ability to take feedback and adapt and iterate based on feedback, metrics and outcomes
  • Excellent verbal, written, proofreading, and editing skills
  • Experience in content authoring, rapid design tools, UX, or visual/graphic design
  • Strong understanding of Technology and Engineering organizations and how they operate

What You Will Do:

This is an entry level Associate Legal Counsel position with the Vista Legal team. The position is expected to begin in August. The Associate Legal Counsel will primarily work within Vista Legal’s Contracts and Commercial Transactions practice, focusing on a wide range of commercial transactions across Vista’s global business. In addition, the Associate Legal Counsel will contribute to general day-to-day legal matters that arise across the Vista business. Candidates must be able to work independently, set priorities, meet deadlines, pay meticulous attention to detail, and be responsive.

  • Analyzing, revising and negotiating a wide variety of commercial contracts, guided by Vista’s business objectives and the practical risk assessment of the transaction.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to understand business needs and provide legal guidance on contract terms and negotiations.
  • Building and refreshing Vista Legal’s template contracts library and developing and publishing self-help resources for Vista business team members pursuing commercial transactions without hands-on Legal team involvement.
  • Ensuring commercial contracts that involve personal data comply with relevant privacy laws, including the GDPR and CCPA.
  • Stay updated on relevant legal developments and industry trends in e-commerce and commercial transactions.

Your Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the bar.
  • Willingness to learn quickly, dig into subject matter and contribute to the team.

As the Senior Employee Engagement and Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and executing our internal studio communications strategy to inform, connect, engage, and inspire all employees and leaders. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Develops and maintains a clear and concise internal communications and employer branding strategy that reflects Insomniac’s culture and key audience while ensuring all content on all internal communication vehicles aligns with and supports goals, mission, and vision.
