About the Job
The Sales & Distribution Analytics Manager will be responsible for all aspects of distribution data and strategy including the development of long-term & short-term strategic goals. This person will work closely across multiple departments to support and implement high-quality, data-driven decisions that will help support overall growth, performance management, and field team success in store. They will ensure data accuracy and consistent reporting by designing and creating forward thinking optimal processes and procedures for teams to follow. This role will also be responsible for gathering sales data from various reporting sources to build out daily, weekly, monthly reporting and narratives that will be provided internally and externally to various partners. This role will be ultimately responsible for the Sales & Distribution analytics team. This is a highly analytical role reporting to the VP of Sales & Distribution and is a fully remote position.
Responsibilities
- Develop goal tracking and business metric dashboards
- Develop key productivity indicator (KPI) tracking platform
- Develop scorecards and tracking mechanisms to support the field sales team
- Contribute to the development of long-term strategic sales & distribution goals
- Provide qualitative analytic support on projects requiring significant data analysis
- Manage performance tracking for bonus proposes
- Track all major sales projects and initiatives
- Create reporting for leadership review
- Special Projects lead ad-hoc analytical projects concentrated on portfolio expansion and distributor performance
- Lead cross-functional projects using data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities
- Ensure accuracy of data and deliverables of reporting employees with comprehensive policies and processes
Education and Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in CPG data analytics, preferably beverage
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Strong business acumen in planning, analyzing, and market strategy
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficient with Brand Tracking Platforms
- Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze business functions, key operations, and performance metrics
- Ability to work cross-functionally and with a wide range of employees with different skill sets
- Understanding of beverage brand DSD three-tier route to market
- Financial, analytical, mathematical problem-solving skills
- Excellent presentation skills – both written & verbal

The National Network Print Planner will be part of a new team focused on ensuring the journalism produced at USA Today and Gannett’s 200+ local newspapers is distributed throughout the company’s many print editions and eNewspaper products. The national network print planner will coordinate efforts with a team of three rewrite editors, who will edit and rewrite USA Today and local market content for use nationally across the USA Today Network. Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize and communicate daily news offerings for use in print across the USA Today Network.
