The Optum Epic Enterprise Services Training Manager will be responsible for defining / communicating training policies and procedures for customer organizations in the transition from their existing technology platforms to Epic. The focus of this role is to liaise between the Epic application teams and customers for the overall implementations of their Epic end user training programs as well as ongoing education and maintenance of the training program after go live.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Create and execute an overall vision for customer training programs, including engagement and approval from project leadership

- Determine staffing requirements for training programs. Recruit and hire principal and credentialed trainers for clinical, revenue cycle, access, and analytics end users

- Oversee the creation and maintenance of training environments, course catalogs and training schedules, and ensure all users are trained before they access production environments
- Developing customer-specific training environment strategies, including coordinating training environments, establishing refresh schedules, and developing playground and practice environments
- Determine the types of curriculum delivery methods (such as instructor led classes, e learning, and blended learning) that will be used during super user training and end user training
- Plan and execute a successful post go-live training program

- Interface with clients in briefings and during projects to ensure study objectives match stated business objectives and adjusting either design or client expectations as needed.
- Review all Activity Guides to ensure the right questions are being asked in the right way to ensure activity objectives are met and respondents are able to easily complete effectively with the goal of ensuring overall study objectives are delivered.
- Lean in on analysis on strategic projects, both directly on the platform and in collaboration with the Data Analytics team.
- Assess delivery needs to know when an external consultant is needed, assist the Account Management team in bringing in the best consultant based on project scope, requirements and client fit.
- Providing interface between client and PM on any points of escalation during a project to ensure that client objectives continue to be met and study outcome will never be compromised.
- Work with the VP, Insights & Analytics to scale our internal full-service team based on demand.
- Ensure consistency and high quality in client reporting, focusing on excellent execution of deliverables. Undertake deliverable review on full-service projects (those done internally as well as those done via external partners) to ensure that every QualSights report includes clear objective delivery and offers strategic insight that brings value based on your understanding on client s business needs, the category environment and/or other external trends.
- Support the Project Delivery team as needed by supervising the development of screeners, guides, analysis, and reporting.
- Provide high-level support externally and internally on Sensor-based projects as needed. In collaboration with the VP, Insights & Analytics, work with our data team to create a plan to capture the data our clients need
