Pinterest is looking for a Sr. Compensation Lead to join our Compensation Team! Reporting to the Head of Compensation, this role will be responsible for implementing and leading key compensation projects and programs globally to help support Pinterest’s business strategy. This role will be both hands-on and strategic, requiring a creative approach in responding to market challenges as well as a deep understanding of industry best practices to ensure Pinterest’s compensation programs are internally equitable, externally competitive, and sustainable.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the design, development and enhancements of Pinterest’s global compensation programs to continue to scale and elevate our compensation offerings to deliver a best in class experience for our employees as Pinterst continues to grow
  • Serve as the key point of contact and advisor on Pinterest’s Global Career Framework to drive continued adoption and alignment on salary and incentive structures, compensation administration practices and job leveling guidelines
  • Help to oversee the continued governance of our programs, while providing thought leadership in the continuous improvement of programs, practices, and policies
  • Lead the design and delivery of compensation programs such as the annual compensation planning process, promotion cycles and merit annual equity award cycle from administration to communication, while maintaining the efficiency, accuracy, and integrity of the processes
  • Serve as the project manager for all cyclical compensation programs as well as ad-hoc projects and initiatives
  • Partner with the People Insights and Analytics team to develop tools that create high impact and robust analytics to help drive key business decisions around compensation
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of systems and tools to enable HR Partners and Managers to make sound compensation decisions.
  • Leads the design and budget management of Pinterest’s Long Term Incentive program
  • Stay up-to-date on current compensation-related legislation and trends globally to ensure compliance with applicable employment-related federal and state statutory requirements regarding employee pay.

What we’re looking for:

  • 8+ years of global compensation experience in a publicly traded company
  • Experience creating and supporting global compensation programs
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a commitment to accuracy, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to varying audiences
  • Demonstrates strong initiative, is self-managed, and can prioritize and multi-task

In this key role as a Sr Data Analytics Analyst, you will develop and maintain pricing procedures for underwriting RFP processes, specifically all procedures around data management (data collection, data mining, data standardization and analytics). What we expect of you

The bold requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Statistical Analysis, Healthcare Management, or a related field. (In lieu of a degree, equivalent relevant experience may be considered.)
  • 3+ years of experience in a role requiring information analysis and various forms of report deliverables.
  • Experience working in collaborative environment with a wide variety of developers and analysts.
  • Experience working independently and participate as a member of a cross-functional team.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.

Nice to haves

  • Experience with business intelligence tools (i.e. Tableau, Qlikview, Microsoft BI, Business Objects); designing, reporting and delivering analytical solutions is a plus.
  • Experience with Data Warehouse methodologies including relational and dimensional modeling, SQL querying, data profiling, and ETL design, and development.
  • Experience with at least one tool of the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack, would be a plus: relational SQL engine, Integration Services, Analysis Services, Reporting Services, and MS Excel PowerPivot.
  • Experience in PBM, Healthcare, and Insurance is a great big plus.

Physical requirements

  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
  • Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
