About The Team
The Enterprise Technology department is a team of enthusiasts who dedicate their time to building reliable and scalable solutions to help build, run, and transform enterprise applications. The Program Management organization is a distributed team responsible for coordinating initiatives for the Crunchyroll streaming service. We work to standardize Agile methodologies for the organization, evangelize process improvements, and lead cross-team communications.
About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager with a passion for leading technical teams, coordinating information, and solving problems.

This position will report into the Program Management organization and will work closely with Enterprise Technology, in addition to other teams across the business, to support pivotal initiatives.
A day in the life of a Senior Technical Program Manager, Enterprise Technology:
- Organize, plan, and track ongoing technical projects and critical initiatives for the Enterprise Technology team
- Lead all aspects of the day-to-day progress of projects and initiatives with regard to schedule, scope, and process
- Effectively lead meetings, track next actions, and proactively follow up on action items
- Identify, schedule, and manage cross-team dependencies
- Build and use effective partnerships across technical and business communities, including but not limited to product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders
- Serve as a key liaison with relevant business groups to facilitate planning and collaboration between teams, align on goals, identify dependencies, mitigate risks, and effectively communicate regular updates to all stakeholders
- Balance 2-3 large programs related to content, finance, and commerce and be able to switch context across programs as needed
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Backlog grooming, Sprint planning, Daily standup, Retrospectives, and Demos) where applicable
- Demonstrate an understanding of the business and its structure, processes, and tools, and how initiatives positively impact the overall business
- Establish and maintain best practices and repeatable processes to increase efficiency for teams in conjunction with the larger Program Management Organization
About You:
- 5+ years experience as a technical project or program manager within software development teams
- Prior experience in or managing projects specifically related to media asset management, content and metadata workflow, or other enterprise technologies preferred
- Prior experience in or managing projects related to streaming, a plus
- Experience working with globally-distributed teams
- Working knowledge and understanding of key concepts and standard processes for technical program management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels, including Senior and C-level stakeholders
- Must be self-motivating, self-sufficient, and have the strong ability to work effectively as an individual or as part of a team
- The ideal candidate is inquisitive, organized, meticulous, and has a desire for continued self-improvement and development of new skills
- Ability to demonstrate a calm and cool demeanor when managing multiple projects and deliverables
- Knowledge of SDLC processes, with experience in both agile and waterfall methodologies, and knowing when to apply each

- Partner with growth product, design, and engineering teams to conduct project discovery/ shaping and execute on the top impact opportunities; Identify and evaluate the success of product work through OKR setting, forecasting, and health checks of key product metrics
- Build effective dashboards/ frameworks to enable the growth team to monitor and check the health of core business KPIs such as CVR, ARPU, LTV, SPS, AOV, Retention.
- Lead the split testing requirements and read-outs, investigating user behavior hypotheses and identifying data abnormalities.
- Manage growth modeling to inform financial forecasting and planning across 2 product groups: Growth, Monetization.
- Communicate performance, experiment results, data outages, and opportunities to a wide range of stakeholders, from growth team members to executivesinfluence other teams’ thinking and priorities by providing thought-through analyses and trade-offs.
- Demonstrate leadership by proactively executing projects and initiatives with minimal support and guidance, quickly and with accuracy, and coaching and mentoring other Data team members.
You will be successful if you have:
- 5+ years of Analytics Experience, bonus if this includes 2+ years of management experience
- 2+ years experience working collaboratively with product teams: product management, engineering, design, data science, data engineering, etc.
- Strong expertise in manipulating data sets through statistical software and programming languages (ex. SQL, R, SAS, Python, C++, C, Perl, etc.).
- Nice to have: Experience using Python for data wrangling ,visualization and statistical packages
- Experience in different statistical methods for predictive modeling, framing hypothesis, experimentation principles/AB testing to forecast & communicate results for core business and product KPI’s
- 2+ years experience with product optimization work, for example, app/web funnels optimization, referrals & social features, push notifications/ email optimization, retention products, and LTV modeling.
