About You:

As the payments and authentication product lead, you will enjoy the opportunity to work across the organization, drive innovation, and shape the future of our offerings. You will be responsible for leading the development and execution of our payments and authentication product roadmap. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, finance and operations to deliver industry-leading payments and authentication solutions that meet the needs of our customers and drive business growth. Your role will require a strong blend of commercial/business acumen, technical expertise, and a keen eye for detail. Your product expertise will also be crucial in mentoring the next generation of product managers across Scribd.

You Will:

  • Take ownership of the payments and authentication product portfolio, providing strategic direction and driving its growth and success.
  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from conceptualization to launch, while ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Work autonomously and collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, operations and finance, to define product roadmaps and prioritize initiatives.
  • Drive innovative solutions and enhancements to our offerings, leveraging industry trends and customer insights to deliver exceptional user experiences.
  • Mentor and guide junior product managers, fostering their growth and development in product management excellence.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes in the payments and authentication landscape, proactively identifying opportunities and addressing challenges.

You Have:

On their behalf, we are seeking a JDE Project Manager Consultant for a long-term (12-18 month) remote engagement.

The IMPACT you will have

  • Function as client-side lead on JDE implementation / consolidation work with an emphasis on Financials
  • Drive the successful consolidation of 20+ environments into 1
  • Oversee the process to break the project down into smaller, manageable projects
  • Liaise between company IT and systems integrator to see that project moves forward toward completion, meeting the needs of the customer, and work is done on-time, within budget and scope.

What you bring

  • 15-20 years of JDE Project Management Experience
  • Served as PM on at least 3 JDE implementations, 5+ preferred
  • Strong experience leading functional consultants in JDE E1 Financials projects. Deep knowledge of financials and/or accounting is a plus.
  • Construction Engineering industry experience is REQUIRED
  • Experience with JDE Payroll is a plus.
  • Availability to commit full-time (remote) to the project (40 hours per week)

About the Role

The Digital Distribution team at Coalition is responsible for developing and maintaining a platform that enables partners access to our core technology platform through APIs, Webhook events and custom portals. We focus on creating a frictionless experience for any external or internal team to seamlessly and quickly enable business flows that impact customers. As a senior engineer on the team you will lead efforts that help achieve this goal. You will be writing backend services and helping design systems that ensure the partners get an accurate actionable insurance quote with as little latency as possible.

Our core platform is written mostly in Python with some services in Go. We prefer to use the right tool for the job and make pragmatic judgments about how to scale and decoupled systems as we continue to grow. You’ll be on an extremely cross-functional team contributing against the heart of our risk.

This is a remote position that can be based anywhere in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Build out high quality APIs and web services providing a scalable, efficient and tailored set of interfaces
  • Design, document and deploy public interfaces that are a joy to consume
  • Work with cross functional stakeholders including product, design, sales, Data and others to help break down business requirements into actionable plans
  • Collaborate with Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to develop and deliver applications in a repeatable, stable and joyful software development lifecycle
  • Develop test cases and work with QE to ensure engineering excellence

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent training/fellowship/work experience
  • Experience with API and service development in Python, Go, or similar languages

  • Assessing software errors with tools like Sentry, DataDog, Jaeger/Zipkin, GreyLog or App Dynamics
  • Experience using multiple transports and formats (e.g. REST, gRPC, GraphQL)
