Amplify is seeking a Web Marketing Coordinator to assist the Marketing team as we grow demand for our programs and pursue a data-driven, search optimized website. This role is great for someone who is passionate in the areas of marketing technology, building and updating web pages, data assessment, and search engine optimization. This person is organized, pays attention to detail, is thoroughly proficient in quick and accurate implementation, and has an interest in organic search. They will have some experience working within WordPress and be excited to learn more; comfortable communicating across teams. The ideal candidate has demonstrated skills in working with websites, and is eager to learn about web marketing.

Key Responsibilities of the Web Marketing Coordinator:

  • Build pages on WordPress for product, field and brand teams. Amplify.com pages
  • are used in every niche of our marketing and public communication. You will build these
  • pages learning our WordPress templates and the basics of HTML and CSS. You will
  • communicate with your manager to learn what can and cannot be done to make pages
  • better, and offer solutions to stakeholders. When you discover a shortcoming in our
  • WordPress setup, you will problem solve and work with your manager to create
  • solutions. You will be accountable for multiple projects and work with stakeholders such
  • as graphic designers, project managers, and product marketers to complete them.
  • Search Engine Optimization. Amplify.com is continually growing and pivoting to rank
  • avidly on the search landscape. You will be comfortable learning and performing
  • keyword research and using SEO tools such as: Yoast, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or
  • similar software to measure and improve the impact of SEO initiatives in driving organic
  • traffic and engagement. As you become proficient, you will also recommend
  • optimizations to improve page ranking.
  • Development. Amplify.com requires regular additions coded by an outside development
  • team. You will work closely with your manager on identifying development needs and
  • learn how to submit and track development tickets for bugs, new features or functionality.
  • Own the management of website ticket requests. At Amplify, we utilize a bug tracking
  • and visual feedback tool to easily collect, organize and act on website feedback. You will
  • manage, and complete ticket requests using a prioritization system.
  • Organize and share data reports. Amplify’s Marketing team relies on accurate and
  • timely insights from our website data. You will help make sure these insights are
  • accessible to team members by building and managing monthly and quarterly reports.
  • WCAG Compliance (Accessibility). You will learn the basics of website accessibility.

Basic Qualifications of the Web Marketing Coordinator:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience in website management, SEO, web
  • design/development, or other related fields
  • 13 years of experience
  • Experience with WordPress
  • Experience in website page builds: landing, blog post, or other web page
  • Capable of managing multiple projects; familiar with project management

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Work closely with Eastern time zone-based cross-functional product development teams to create best-in-class web-based solutions for our customers in field service businesses, ie: pest-control, security, and cleaning industries.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Product Design team on company-wide design initiatives and actively critique and iterate to discover the best solutions.
  • Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and clickable prototypes.
  • Help develop and maintain our design system (component documentation, themes, patterns, etc.)
  • Work closely with a Product Design Manager, Product Management, QA, and Engineers to define use cases, gather requirements, plan user stories, implement designs, iterate and track changes.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • One to two years of experience designing business-oriented web and mobile applications, leveraging emerging technologies. SaaS or service design experience is a plus.
  • A portfolio or samples illustrating your UI and UX work (wireframes, flows, and related deliverables.)
  • Strong Figma skills.
  • Knowledge of design systems.
  • Strong curiosity and drive to understand how things work, envision how they might work better, and translate that vision into a compelling user experience.
  • A passion for solving problems and making complex systems easy to use.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of human factors and usability best practices. Knowledge of ADA/WCAG compliance is highly desired.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional R&D teams to successfully develop and deliver products to market (experience working in Agile teams is a plus.)
  • Ability to coordinate and track user stories, use cases, and design deliverables (Jira experience is a plus).
  • Understanding of the capabilities and limitations of front-end technologies. Working knowledge of CSS and HTML is essential. Coding/scripting will not be your responsibility, but the ability to communicate and collaborate with front-end developers is critical to the role.
  • Must be comfortable reviewing developed designs to provide detailed feedback to Engineering and QA.

The Software Engineer III role is primarily devoted to designing and developing next generation software for the Nextech product suite.
