Title: Temporary – Partime – Associate Data Scientist
Location: Remote Available, US
This role will be Temporary and Part-Time.

What You Will Do:
- Configurators, Developers and Engineers
- Debugs, tests and troubleshoots code.
- Works with various databases and systems.
- Writes technical documentation.
- Develops system diagrams and workflows.
- Develops code for web and mobile applications
Data Scientists/Data Engineers
- Analyzes data to transform into useful information to help make business decisions.
- Conducts data mining to identify patterns for predictive insights.
- Organizes data using visualization.
- Models structured and unstructured data for system integration.
What You Will Need:
- Senior class standing at a college or university and working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Programming, Management Information Systems, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, or Data Analytics; OR Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer, Programming, Management Information Systems, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, or Data Analytics.
- Requires availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays when necessary.
- Demonstrates a moderate level of programming proficiency.
- Strong written, verbal, and analytical skills.
- Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
What Will Set You Apart:
- Previous experience/internship in Information Technology or Data Analytics at Gallo.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, word processing software, databases, and either software
- development or machine learning.
- Familiar with advanced statistical concepts such as random forests, ensemble methods, K-Nearest
- Neighbors, K-Means, etc.
