Job Description:
First Stop Health is seeking an experienced, innovative and detail-oriented Product Designer who will play a key role in designing the future of the FSH brand, building on our brand promise to deliver care that people love. We seek a collaborative, creative, and skilled product designer who is keenly attuned to solving problems and designing elegant solutions and workflows to elevate our user experience. You will be responsible for the design direction of tools that help our doctors and clinical team deliver the best possible patient experience, building deep user empathy with our patients and providers. You will also help to establish refreshed brand guidelines, collaborate with our member engagement team in designing patient outreach, and create a scalable design system for the future of the FSH product.
Our ideal candidate is an enthusiastic self-starter with rich experience across user research methodologies, including user interviews, stakeholder requirements gathering, defining user personas, prototype testing, usability testing, user shadowing, surveying, data-driven product analytics, and a well-informed understanding of web accessibility guidance. This designer will be a champion for UX research across the company, demonstrating skill and confidence in presenting research findings to stakeholders and leaders, articulating how research informs data-driven product design.
This position reports to the Senior Vice President of Product and will be embedded in a cross-functional agile team, working in close partnership with developers and product managers.
Responsibilities:
Define and own design strategy and user research practice for First Stop Health products used by clinical team members and patients, aligning product design with company goals and market trends
Serve as design leader within an agile team, representing the voice of our users and championing best practices in UX, reflecting the strategic needs of our business in the development of new features and product expansions
Collaborate cross-functionally to build relationships across the organization, communicating clearly to stakeholders as you own and champion design strategy
Understand and measure the impact of design decisions as they affect user interactions and KPI’s
Create prototypes and wireframes to improve existing features and create new products based on complex user workflows
Collaborate with the development team to ensure designs specifications are implemented

Familiarity and appreciation for designing in compliance with ADA and WCAG
Proven track record conducting UX research and competitive market research, with an ability to translate insights into design strategies
