You work with the Supply Chain team to communicate component price or perhaps even procedural changes that affect finished goods pricing.

- Responsible for the budget associated with the development and certification of hardware platforms. This includes prototypes, non-recoverable engineering expenses (NRE), line setup costs, tooling, and certification (safety, EMC, and market access) costs.
- Responsible for the WatchGuard sign-off of the hardware specification of each platform.
- Participation in the selection of critical components and alternate sources to ensure product availability (from a supply change perspective).
- Responsible for the project schedule of the hardware from conception to the delivery of production units. You will work closely with the ODM, WatchGuard engineering, and WatchGuard QA teams on the development, monitoring, and managing risks associated with the project. You will identify and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project objectives are met.
- Support post launch quality improvement activities driving fixes and enhancements into the hardware design and manufacturing process.
- Optimize our engagement with Product Management, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, and Customer Support to understand customer feedback / market needs and perform research on problems discovered or performance criteria or competitive issues.
