The Analyst will be a pivotal contributor to the Workload Analysis and Resource Modeling (WARM) for the USCIS Office of Performance and Quality (OPQ). The specialist will be responsible for modernizing, refining, enhancing, and automating the Staffing Allocation Models (SAMs) and Model for Operational Planning (MOP). This role will involve close collaboration with product design and engineering teams, understanding their requirements, and innovating statistical models for data analysis. By sharing findings with all stakeholders and utilizing analytics for actionable insights, they will foster smarter business processes and stay updated with current technical and industry trends.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Build new SAM and workload forecasts as required.
  • Refine and maintain any assigned SAM and workload forecast.
  • Conduct ongoing verification and validation of data sources.
  • Undertake sampling methods or studies when data is unavailable.
  • Conduct performance or productivity data analyses as required.
  • Develop improvements and automate data pulls, workload forecasts, and SAMs.
  • Build or refine dashboards and provide data visualization to illustrate the impact of scenarios when the model is updated with new assumptions.
  • Improve and maintain the R Studio-based Forecasting Tool. 4 years minimum of R Studio required

Requirements:

  • Must have Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree a plus
  • Must have U.S. Work Authorization without the need for sponsorship
  • Must have 4 to 10 years of experience in operations research, data analysis, or a related field
  • Experience using Python, R Studio, Databricks, etc.
  • Ability to formulate and apply mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods
  • Proficiency in collecting and analyzing data, developing decision support software, services, or products
  • Capability to develop and supply optimal time, cost, or logistics networks for program evaluation, review, or implementation

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:

Responsible for developing and creating marketing campaigns and communications that support new product launches and seasonal product collections for exclusive distributed brands. This role will drive awareness and activation of initiatives focusing primarily on a B2B audience. However, some consumer facing marketing will be required for specific brands for which QBP has the rights to direct-to-consumer sales channels.

Successful candidates for this role are excellent communicators with a penchant for learning about brands and products, and how they fit into a variety of different retail channels – and then translating those learnings into thoughtfully planned campaigns and communications that convey key messages to various audiences. While highly cross-functional, this role reports to the Marketing Communications Manager.

  • Representing assigned exclusive brands, work in collaboration with sales managers, category management teams and the Q marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaign strategies in support of seasonal product line introductions and new product launches. Develop, facilitate, and help execute customer communications, as well as brand and product training for Q sales team, retailers, and retail sales associates.* [30%]
