As an individual contributor reporting to the Director of Partner Operations, you will collaborate with GitLab Partner and Field Sales Leadership, cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Marketing, Enablement, Legal, Finance, IT), and partners to drive special projects and initiatives that will increase partners force multiplier effect across our sales motions.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive long-term and high impact strategic projects across the global partner business including project identification and scoping, stakeholder alignment and management, build, rollout, and execution
  • Contribute to cross-functional company projects as the voice of our partners and partner teams
  • Assess existing partner processes, identify opportunities to redesign for efficiency and scalability, and successfully drive projects to deliver these improvements
  • Engage with Product, Marketing, Finance, and Enablement teams on GitLab revenue plays and special projects to ensure partner requirements are included in initial scoping and design to drive successful partner outcomes
  • Help build and operationalize our automated partner order processes as a key team member on our partner marketplace initiatives (Hyperscaler, Distributor, and Reseller marketplaces)
  • Drive partner portal enhancements and initiatives in collaboration with the Partner Programs and Specialist teams
  • Assist in designing, maintaining, and delivering on the roadmap for partner operations initiatives
  • Build and deliver ad hoc reporting to support projects and company OKRs

Requirements

  • Demonstrated progressive experience and understanding of partner operations and programs
  • Excellent problem solving, project management, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally to lead and contribute to projects
  • Experience working directly with sales/partner sales teams and partners
  • Strong analytical ability and able to prioritize multiple projects
  • Proven ability to thrive as a self-starter in a fluid, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written/verbal communication
  • Deep SFDC and partner management system (e.g., Partner Portal) expertise and knowledge of QTC process, tools, and automation

Responsibilities

  • Content Creation:Develop compelling and relevant content that resonates with our target audience, including blog posts, whitepapers, webinar content, presentations, and more. Ensure that the content aligns with our product value proposition and industry trends. Regularly review and update existing marketing content to ensure relevance and accuracy.
  • Digital Marketing: Execute and optimize digital marketing campaigns across various platforms, including email marketing, SEO, and pay-per-click advertising. Monitor campaign performance and make data-driven adjustments.
  • Website Management:Support the creation and maintenance of website pages and content, including landing pages, product pages, and more, ensuring that SEO best practices are utilized across the board.
  • Lead Generation: Work closely with Marketing, BDRs, and Outreach teams to generate high-quality leads through marketing campaigns and events. Collaborate with the sales team to nurture and convert leads into customers.
  • Event Planning:Assist in the planning and execution of webinars, conferences, and other industry events. Coordinate logistics, manage outreach, and post-event follow-ups.
  • Analytics and Reporting:Regularly analyze marketing performance metrics and compile reports to assess the effectiveness of marketing strategies. Use insights to make data-driven recommendations and improvements.
  • Market Research:Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and customer needs. Identify opportunities for growth and innovation based on your research findings.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams, including the BDRs, outreach, product development, and customer success, to ensure alignment on marketing goals and strategies. Ensure that these teams understand primary personas and have the necessary tools to properly position and sell UpMetrics.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of marketing experience (At least 1+ years in B2B SaaS preferred).
  • Analytical and creative mindset, with a high attention to detail and quality of deliverables.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt writing styles to various formats and platforms
  • Proficiency in content management systems, SEO tools, and digital analytics platforms
  • Comfortable with tight deadlines and ensuring high-quality execution through measured results.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize work to deliver on the most impactful and important outcomes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of establishing credibility with customers, prospects, business partners, sales, customer support, and development teams.
  • A proven track record of GTM experience results in lead generation and pipeline growth.
