Cloud Engineer
This role provides Advanced infrastructure and O/S support and site reliability for Tyler Technologies public and private Cloud Solutions. The Cloud Engineer works directly with other Cloud Services and Divisional Application Teams. The CE has ownership of ensuring that the services supporting Tylers applications have reliability and uptime appropriate to users’ needs, as well as offering recommendations to ensure optimal systems resources, capacity, and performance.
The scope of the Cloud Engineer includes resolving complex cloud infrastructure performance issues, ensuring all service levels are met by providing preventative maintenance and participating in problem and change management processes. The Cloud Engineer has a direct impact on current and future design of the environment to ensure optimal performance of the environment. Ensure that client sites stay up and running and accessible to Tyler clients.
As a part of Tylers corporate staff, you will make an impact on outcomes that affect various areas of the company. Your work will ultimately support our team members, clients, stakeholders, and the public sector.

Responsibilities
- Act as SME for AWS environments used to host Tyler applications.
- Monitor application and database systems and infrastructure for performance and up-time.
- Provide incident and outage response in order to meet Tyler SLAs.
- Prepare and maintain documentation on operations tool sets and cross-train personnel on their use and maintenance.
- Follow industry best practices for change management process.
- Lead cloud based IT projects as part of larger IT initiatives.
- Participate in interview process when recruiting for new CCS positions.
- Deliver assigned reports and work metrics in a timely and accurate manner.
- Provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff.
- Review and recommend cloud infrastructure sizing to ensure optimal performance.
- Create technical drawings of AWS infrastructure and application workflows.
- Make recommendations on cloud based solutions to manage AWS environments.
Qualifications
- Five to seven years IT career spanning any of the following: cloud environment design, SysOps, and automation.
- Hands on experience with supporting applications in any one of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- 3 to 5 years of hands on experience in a large-scale cloud based environment.
- Be familiar with and adhere to a strict change control policy with an eye toward never violating PCI, CJIS, SSAE or other standards-based certifications maintained within the Tyler public cloud.
- AWS or comparable Cloud Certification
- Microsoft / VMWare Certifications are a plus

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Zendesk Administrator to join the Age of Learning team. You will help us build and maintain the digital customer journey through our existing Zendesk configuration, as well as assist with AI-driven solutions using our existing standards and conventions.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage the existing Zendesk configuration for all products.
- Design, develop, and implement new configurations and customizations for Zendesk including leveraging third party apps and chatbot AI platforms to streamline operations and optimize customer satisfaction.
