The Senior Production Project Managerfunctions as a primary interface for clients both internal and/or external. The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for managing the daily activities of the project and developing project plans in support of the clients strategy and isultimately responsible for keepingthe pace and timing of the deliverables at the pace needed to deliver on-time, on-spec assignments as needed by the internal client.The Project Manager also maintains positive relations and has accountability for ensuring work performed is accurate and timely.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with team members to acquire all project information required to perform work.

  • Prioritize and delegate tasks to internal creative team to achieve client expectations
  • Effectively allocates resources within the team or on shift as required to accomplish assigned tasks
  • Effectively communicates information to all stakeholders
  • Must have strong project management skills, ability to think strategically and manage multiple priorities, anticipate demands, coordinate stringent deadlines and properly estimate time for work
  • Track team members hours logged to ensure hours are being logged consistently and then tracked to understand ensure client budgets are being met
  • Uphold and enforce established processes and procedures to ensure timely and accurate delivery of work, while looking for opportunity to improve process and workflow
  • Establish a strong understanding of our clients products and their positioning in the marketplace
  • Coordinate multiple tasks and communicate with any necessary team members
  • Share with the off-shore creative team the clients business directives

Job Summary

The Voice of Client Listening Senior Product Owner works on a cross-functional team to facilitate implementation and scaling of Thrivents Voice of Client Listening product. The VOC listening product sits inside the larger capability of Enterprise Client Experience, which also includes two business teams. As such, while the Senior Product Owner is primarily responsible for direction-setting, discovery and prioritization associated with the VOC Listening product, the role is truly a cross-functional one as it involves aligning and collaborating across all three teams and broadly across the enterprise to enable execution and fulfillment against VOC Listening strategic imperatives in tandem with the broader strategic mandate of the Enterprise Client Experience capability.

To do so, the VOC Listening Senior Product Owner articulates, translates, and executes the Enterprise Client Experience capability leaderships long-term strategy and vision through tactical strategies and solutions to drive necessary business outcomes. This requires the right alignment and regular, transparent communication to ensure both roles deliver on their goals. Additionally, the VOC Listening Senior Product Owner works closely with stakeholders, end users, and functional and technical team members to rapidly deliver solutions that are key to the VOC Listening products scale, quality, and utility for the enterprise.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Works as a key team member on a cross-functional team, responsible for continuous delivery of value to the enterprise.
  • Collaborate with Product Manager and stakeholders to ensure work prioritization is aligned with Thrivents priorities and overall product roadmap as well as to provide product development feedback and direction. Leans into the work of developing and socializing the product strategy with senior leaders across the company.
  • Continuously innovates and evolves the product in alignment with strategic priorities. Is responsible for creating, maintaining, and evolving the product roadmap.
  • Maintain and refine product backlog: Create user stories and acceptance criteria and prioritize all stories to ensure work focuses on those with maximum business value that align with product strategy.
  • Ensure stories clearly communicate the customer and stakeholder needs to meet key business objectives and strategies for the product. Is available for consultation during agile team planning and grooming sessions as needed. Coaches team members on effective product management and agile techniques to help mature the abilities of the entire team.
  • Facilitates efforts across other product teams to align product roadmaps and sprint plans, in an effort to focus on delivering the maximum business value to the organization.
  • As a functional leader of an agile team, ensures the team is aligned around similar goals and objectives and attending all team meetings.
  • Engages with customers and users on a regular basis to uncover implicit and explicit needs.

Job Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5-7 years relevant business experience.
  • Understand fundamentals of iterative development and implementation of new, enterprise-wide capabilities.
  • Expertise in the principles of Agile Product Management, stakeholder management, market and user research, technology management, and process design.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Passion for and understanding of Voice of Client implementation and enterprise application.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and influence skills among all organizational levels; strong facilitation and executive communications skills.

Preferred:

  • Certified Product Owner or similar certification.
  • Prior experience in Voice of Customer enterprise implementation.

  • Demonstrated experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc), having designed, built, and maintained cloud platforms that run production-grade services and traffic
  • Demonstrated experience with infrastructure-as-code principles and development
  • Knowledge of IP networking, DNS, CDN, load balancing, HTTP, and firewalls
