As a Full Stack Software Engineer working on the Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) team you will help design and build the next generation of D&D’s digital toolset and marketplace, D&D Beyond.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build solutions using the latest web technologies including React and HTML5.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 2+ years of industry experience using modern web development technologies like React, TypeScript, and CSS3.
  • 2+ years of experience building services using Node.js, .NET Core, or similar technologies.
  • Experience consuming and building RESTful APIs using industry-standard practices with scalability and security in mind.
  • Experience working with both relational (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres) and non-relational databases (e.g., DynamoDB, MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with configuring and maintaining continuous deployment pipelines for front-end applications and services in the cloud (e.g., AWS, Azure, etc.).

You will collaborate with a skilled professional services team to assist customers in migrating to and utilizing Google Cloud throughout their entire cloud adoption journey. This includes assessments, design, proof-of-concepts, documentation, planning, execution, and optimization. In this role, you will primarily focus on project delivery with direct customer engagement.

  • Evaluate application portfolios and plan migrations to Google Cloud, delivering written assessments (usually as part of an Infrastructure Assessment) that include:

Minimum Experience:

  • A BA/BS degree with 8 years of relevant experience, an MS degree with 6 years, a Ph.D. with 3 years, or 12 years of relevant experience without a college degree
  • 8+ years of diverse solutions architecture experience, including at least 3 years in public cloud
  • Google Professional Cloud Architect Certification
  • Hands-on experience with both lift-and-shift and greenfield migrations to Google Cloud
  • Intermediate experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Intermediate experience with containerization technologies (Docker, GKE)
  • Familiarity with identity and access models in on-prem (Active Directory) and public cloud (SAML, OIDC, Workforce Identity Federation)

  • Lead and manage projects with technical team members, ranging from 1 to 20 technical consultants
  • Handle status reporting – authoring, communications, impact/risk assessments, etc.
