The Role

This role falls in our brand new mobile team focused on building a new native application to compliment Flock Safety’s industry leading user facing product line.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Lay the necessary foundations for infrastructure, developer velocity, team processes, design systems, and other elements of the product development process with a long-term perspective.
  • Collaborate with mobile & cross-functional engineering groups to create large-scale product experiences. Deliver core customer-facing features of our app & work closely with the product team to create a delightful user experience
  • Help scale out the entire mobile engineering team’s processes and systems.
  • Ability to coach and mentor engineers in a fast-paced & hyper-growth environment.
  • Help shape the long-term high-quality bar of our mobile apps through broad testability strategies.

We’re looking for people who:

  • Multiple years of Android experience having worked on multiple apps shipped to the app store
  • Experience shipping and maintaining a mobile app over an extended period of time – working with mobile apps at scale or having helped apps scale to millions of users is a plus!

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or greater degree in design, user experience, writing or a related field

2-3 years experience writing user-facing content, including 1+ years specifically for Web or mobile

Excellent writing and editing skills with a mastery of AP style and the confidence to know when to break the rules

Solid understanding of people-centered user experience and interaction patterns

Analytical thinking about customer journeys and content flows

Ability to independently plan and lead content strategy for large-scale projects including future-proof thinking

Demonstrated interest in advocating for the user and ability to make a business case for content

About You

Nutrafol is searching for an experienced Front-End Developer with a keen eye for aesthetics and, preferably, a UX background to join our team. We are seeking a skilled Network Operations Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and reliable operation of our global network and infrastructure. Your duties will include monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, and performing maintenance and engineering tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain networking equipment including firewalls, routers, switches, and servers.
  • Utilize monitoring tooling to create baselines for network devices and provide reports on the health of the network
  • Working through ticketing system on open network issues to be proactive on troubleshoot network faults
  • Oversee access by technicians and contractors into PoP sites.
  • Providing first/second level of technical support for Twilio customer network products, Interconnect & BYO Carrier
  • Escalate complex issues to senior staff as necessary after exhausting troubleshooting options
  • Communicate professionally, effectively, and courteously with internal and external customers.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation including some weekend and holiday hours in a global follow-the-sun environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and work on deployment projects which will help to maximize network infrastructure performance and network upgrades

Required:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a network operations or engineering role in carrier or communications industry.
  • Professional level experience troubleshooting and configuring with CLI Juniper Junos preferred or CIsco / other equivalent
  • Professional level experience with L2 switching, and L3 routing protocols including OSPF, BGP.
  • Experience or knowledge in hardware with a variety of different vendors and across networking platforms such as Cisco, Juniper, Fortigate, Opengear, vMX, vSRX, KVM, VMware
  • Cisco CCNA certification or equivalent is preferred
  • Willing and able to work an on call rotating roster that will include overnight, weekends, and public holidays – These can be done from home.
  • Networking and Telecommunications systems experience.
  • Firewall, Router, Server, and Switching hardware experience or knowledge.
  • Strong network troubleshooting and resolution skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work under pressure without direct supervision
  • Comfortable working remotely while being effective and efficient with minimal oversight.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar discipline. Or equivalent practical experience

  • Networking certifications (JNCIA, CCNA, etc)
  • Familiarity with network automation tools
  • Cloud networking experience (AWS)
