Role responsibilities

  • Define best practices, lead creative exercises and help set the vision and strategy for your product’s content and for Content Design as a whole.
  • Own product copy and content strategy for your teams’ features.
  • Demonstrate the impact of your work proactively and often. Use data to guide and advocate your work.
  • Partner with Product Marketing, Product Management and other cross-functional partners to develop a consistent voice, tone and taxonomy for your product area.
  • Be an active and available craft mentor to other content designers, and partner with us in building our positive, collaborative and healthy team culture.

Requirements

  • A cover letter and portfolio of your work.
  • Experience in product writing and content strategy. Demonstrated record of writing successful UX/UI copy with measurable impact.
  • Proficiency in Sketch, Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator or equivalent design tools.
  • Experience advocating for content and design, garnering resources when needed and driving projects forward even in the face of obstacles.
  • Experience creating and applying style guides and related artifacts to help others write successfully.
  • 5+ years of industry experience.*
  • Ability to track the effects of your work across multiple teams, and proactively manage issues and complexity.
  • Leadership skills: the ability to give strong, thoughtful feedback, and an active drive to help others improve.

The role:

Nacelle is looking for a veteran Senior Engineering Manager to join our team. As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you’ll

  • Join our Site Reliability team, which is responsible for infrastructure behind the main Webflow application, as well as the infrastructure required for our hosting plans.
  • Empower engineers on other teams to take control of their services by writing shared infrastructure-as-code tooling and collaborating on internal best practices for infrastructure.
  • Occasionally dive into the main Webflow application in Node, Python, or Go to better discern (and sometimes fix) behavior in production.
  • Work with peers on Webflow’s Customer Support, Partnerships, and Sales teams to enable customers using Webflow’s services in production.
  • Participate in and continuously improve on-call and incident response processes.

About you

  • Either a background as an ops engineer with an enthusiasm for code, or a background as a software engineer with an enthusiasm for systems administration.
  • 5+ years of experience building, maintaining, and debugging distributed systems in a customer-facing environment that allows for little to no downtime.
  • Experience navigating and scaling multi-tier cloud environments on either AWS or GCP.
  • Experience with container-centric architectures, built with Docker and tools like Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, AKS, OpenShift, etc.), ECS, Docker Swarm, or Mesos.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

The right candidate for the job will have experience with coordinating training, to include shipping of the classroom equipment, to various training locations; support a weekly virtual class of up to 96 students per weekly session; support class registration efforts; and support the research necessary to develop and revise training course in conjunction with the trainers.

Job Description

The right candidate will be responsible for:

  • Working with different site POCs to establish a date and location for in-person training classes
  • Provide logistic support for shipping the classroom hardware to each in-person training site
  • Work with the trainers to revise / update course content
  • Validating results of the classroom lab exercise
  • Administering the final exam and class evaluation
  • Providing registration support for the virtual classes
  • Monitor the training group email box and ensure a timely response
  • Ensure classroom equipment is properly imaged and in working order before shipping
  • Editing of 508 compliant videos
  • Prepare trending reports based on course evaluation feedback
