As a Content Associate, you will drive and manage the day-to-day flow of video content across the DraftKings content ecosystem. What you’ll do as a Content Associate:

  • Proactively clip and distribute social-first vertical video content from original DraftKings Network programming on a daily basis.
  • Architect and implement a comprehensive tagging, titling and thumbnail system for our YouTube channel that maximizes our video contents potential to be surfaced and shared.
  • Craft click-worthy headlines and short-form article copy to support DraftKings podcast and programming discoverability on platforms such as DraftKings Nation.
  • Conduct weekly reporting on published video content across platforms, contributing to established analytics reports distributed across the organization.
  • Research industry best practices and new techniques to continuously improve our overall content marketing and distribution efforts.

Marcom is a multi-disciplinary creative team within Airbnb’s Marketing group, spanning visual design, brand identity, copywriting, art direction, motion and interactive. In partnership with Advertising and Product Design, we are stewards of the brand whose objective is to help current and future guests and Hosts understand what Airbnb offers, and why it’s meaningful in their lives.

The difference you will make:

We are looking for a Creative Lead who can ensure creative excellence on our Brand Experience team. Their responsibilities will include concepting, visual design, and direction for launch events, in-product brand creative, mission and values initiatives, as well as the occasional CEO and Executive special projects.

This role will report to the Group Creative Director, Brand Experience and be fully remote based in the U.S. (see below for approved locations). Candidates must demonstrate the ability to lead a creative process from its strategic start to its executional finish, and will have a strong track record of developing breakthrough platform ideas, managing and directing creative talent, and being hands-on at all phases of the project.

A typical day:

  • Hands-on execution of world-class communications from strategy and concept to point and pixel perfect artwork.
  • Reviewing, providing constructive feedback to peers and more junior team members across multiple disciplines: visual design, copywriting, art direction, motion graphics and interactive.
  • Champion the craft of design and visual storytelling, and help elevate them throughout the department’s output.
  • Partner with Interactive and Campaign Creative to ensure the brand’s creative direction and voice is consistent across all touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with various departments, producers, program managers, photographers and illustrators to achieve the finished product on time and on budget.
  • Support external creative and production agencies to execute work that is of the highest quality and consistency.

Your expertise:

  • 8+ years experience overall within a creative agency or in-house at a leading brand.

Responsibilities

  • Create detailed UI designs and related design assets for our web application. This includes low to high fidelity visual design mockups, wireframes, prototypes, and supporting design specifications and documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and product management in an Agile and iterative fashion to ensure your proposed designs meet user needs and are feasible to implement.
  • Undertake user research and testing with our customers/users and respond to their feedback through design iterations.
  • Tell the story of the customer/user and create internal consensus around user outcomes.
  • Be the voice of our customers, ensuring that they are represented appropriately at every step in the design process and that we are elevating their needs and pain points appropriately.
  • Discover, stay current, and recommend effective design tools for collaborative work.

What Would Make You a Great Fit

  • BA/BFA degree in HCI or design related field, with an emphasis on user experience, interaction design, visual design or related field.
  • Experience working on SaaS products in the healthcare space.
  • 5 or more years of experience designing delightful user experiences for data-rich applications.
  • A portfolio showing your processes and deliverables. We are interested in learning how you approach problems and think through them.
  • Experience conducting usability research such as moderated/unmoderated user testing, user interviews, surveys, and other research methods.
  • Demonstrated experience designing user interfaces using responsive design patterns and best practice UX and design.
  • A strong focus on usability and efficiency with a drive to simplify complex problems.

  • Designs, communicates, and implements a detailed timeline/project plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project.
  • Conduct project meetings and prepare meeting notes, action items, and project status reports for management.
  • Understand customer needs and timing to ensure project requirements are covered.
  • Ensure timelines are created and the team is tracking to the timeline, reports shortfalls as needed to the Steering Group/Stakeholders.
  • Manage agendas and meeting recaps/minutes to ensure all project tasks and goals are being accomplished as expected.
  • Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality.
  • Performs risk management to minimize project risks and escalates to management as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or finance, is required
  • 5 – 8 years’ experience managing large, complex projects, particularly those involving customer driven timelines
  • Strong project management and problem-solving ability
  • Proven ability to define and execute project timelines
  • Proven ability to influence and manage internal & external resources in a highly matrix’ d environment
  • Proven ability to address competing priorities within a single project with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills needed to communicate with all levels of the organization, including international sites and time zones
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project programs
  • Travel as needed (less than 10%)
