As a Senior Account Executive on our Inside Sales team, you will utilize value selling techniques to become a trusted advisor as you develop long term relationships within specific federal markets. Also required daily prospecting, as well as identifying, cultivating, and ultimately closing deals.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
- Building and developing relationships with customers, responding timely and accurately to quotation requests, and processing customer orders
- Developing new accounts through prospecting efforts
- Managing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date pipeline and forecast using Salesforce
- Participating in and embracing the Sirius Federal learning environment, fueling ongoing career development through training in technologies and sales

- Fostering successful cross-department relationships to provide a value to the customer and their mission
- Partnering with our highly knowledgeable engineering staff to generate quotes and to design customized solutions based on each client’s needs
- Developing and effectively communicating full understanding of our varied products, services, and solution offerings, including our core areas of expertise Network Security, Infrastructure Solutions, Collaboration, Enterprise Applications, Analytics, and Cloud.
Education and/or Experience Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent related experience
- At least 4 years’ experience in selling products, solutions, and professional services in the IT industry; experience selling software, storage, VOIP, and security solutions, preferred
- High level of motivation with a competitive hunter mentality
Required Qualifications
- Prior relationships in federal marketplace, preferred
- Experience selling in a federal environment, preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Duties:

The Registration Manager is responsible for all aspects of attendee management, communication, and attendee reporting. This position is responsible for supporting the client in planning successful meeting and events by managing the registration process while maintaining a high level of customer service to the client and meeting attendees.
As a Registration Manager you will focus on
Website Management:
Build and maintain registration websites for each assigned event via CVENT. Oversee all aspects of the website design, keeping close eye on details and client led changes to the site. Included in this process are also invitation and email confirmation design and management.
Design and build websites with advanced needs when requests are made. This includes, but is not limited to background image placement, HTML coding, table creation, background and font color changes, alignment of images, etc.
Keep abreast of new technologies & ideas that can enhance the process, design, functionality, or manageability of development and maintenance
Understand Client Brand and how to ensure sites are in compliance.
Troubleshoot registration issues and answer any questions program managers or clients may have while managing the day to day registration of the program.
Ensure distribution of host and attendee surveys, compile results.
Must be able to work via project plan.
Attendee Management:
Work directly with client prior to website development to assess program reporting needs and client’s desired reporting schedule once registration opens. Consult with client to ensure that reporting plan achieves client objectives in the most efficient manner. Recap reporting plan to client and to program manager.
Ability to identify resources in a complex organization to effectively get results.
Develop and maintain relationships with all meeting contacts to ensure repeat and new business.
Setup initial registration call with client to discuss the registration process including costs, air process, registration software capabilities, , reporting and other registration steps.
Oversee and monitor attendee registration process and update client as needed.
Manage all aspects of the room block, including but not limited to exercising attrition, securing additional rooms, and rooming list accuracy. Communicate rooming details directly to hotel and review associated contract terms with purchasing manager and/or client.
Update revised room blocks accordingly in registration database.
Report final quality control of all event reports for assigned programs to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Identify travel parameters, perform QC processes on arranged air travel and serve as an escalation point between air team and client for approvals on any flights outside meeting parameters.
Ensure arrival/departure manifests are accurate and communicated to ground supplier(s), and/or program manager/client.
Communicate flight changes to suppliers and program manager/client once final manifests have been submitted to team and suppliers.
Expected to treat colleagues, employees, and suppliers with whom you interact with respect and dignity.
Responsible for protecting confidential information of BCD Meetings & Events and Client.
Conduct oneself in a professional and approachable manner at all times.
Work independently in the absence of supervision.

2 plus years of registration management or comparable experience required (i.e. event registration, database management, meeting planning, etc.)
