Job Description
The Senior Forecasting and Pharmacoeconomic Analyst is responsible for creating and maintaining client specific drug trend forecasts by analyzing their historical data and designing predictive models to help clients predict their future drug trends. This role will partner with key experts in the organization such as, clinical, actuary, rebate, and finance teams to understand and dynamically model the impact of upcoming market events such as, patent expirations, new drug launches, and expanded indications. The Senior Forecasting and Pharmacoeconomic Analyst will also stay up to date on new modeling strategies and technologies to enhance current models and to design new predictive analytics applications and products to further assist clients with managing future trend.
- Produces trend reports (both retrospective and forecasted).
- Assists in creation and development of trend reports and processes critical to analyzing historical trend and forecasted.
- Coordinates and works closely with end users and business leaders to understand requirements for forecasting solutions.

Minimum Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in Analytics or Informatics
- Bachelors degree in related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge in Python, R, SQL, SAS, forecasting and time series modeling tools or similar business intelligence tool/applications
- MS Suite power user.
- Experience in creating efficient, accurate and scalable production environment reporting.
