We are seeking a Senior Strategic Program Manager who will support company-wide initiatives focused on product and program development. This individual would be working under the Corporate Program Management Office on new product builds and integrations across many different business units. In this exciting and challenging role, the candidate will manage the initiation, planning, integration, execution, and control of corporate or executive programs consisting of multiple interrelated projects which cross divisional boundaries and deliver strategic value to the organization. This Program Manager will need to possess the ability to interact, gain buy-in and work with a matrix group of project teams from across the organization to successfully drive the program forward. This program consists of project teams working at the cutting edge of Jack Henry, utilizing the ever-evolving emerging technologies. Flexibility and a streak of curiosity are must-haves. This position can be based out of any Jack Henry office location or remote from any US location. This position will have a salary range of $112,000-$160,000 based on experience and location.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Manages strategic program(s) or portfolio made up of multiple related projects, programs or workstreams to deliver outcomes and deliverables strategic to the organization.
- Develops business case and/or strategies with support of executive leadership.
- Establishes tailored program frameworks to execute and deliver strategic outcomes, with a particular emphasis on value realization and organizational change management.
- Determines objectives and key results and works with Finance, CI, Business Operations, and IT to track and manage measurable business outcomes.
- Ensures all organizational interdependencies are identified, documented, and managed.
- Ensures all program-level activities, risks and issues are identified, documented, and managed appropriately.
- Manages coordination of program information and concerns across functional and divisional lines.
- Provides leadership and mentoring to project and program managers.
What you’ll need to have:
- Minimum of 13 years of experience as a technical project manager having managed software development projects.
- Must have 1 of the following certifications:Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP),SAFeRTE (Release Train Engineer.)
- Experience working in managing projects in an Agile environment.
- Must have experience as a trusted partner with several stakeholder groups such as: Sponsors, Line of Business leaders, project stakeholders/Subject matter experts.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to travel up to 10 – 15% for program and project planning meetings.
What would be nice for you to have:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Information Systems or Project Management.
- Ability to manage complex enterprise level new product development, large initiatives and system integrations.
- Experience in a role of a Release Train Engineer (RTE) or as a Program Manager.
- Experience managing program or projects in a SAFe Agile Environments.
