Overview
LMI is seeking an experienced Back-End Developer to support a growing fast-paced agile project team. This position is fully remote with travel to Virginia once per quarter for 2-4 days.
Responsibilities
- Develop robust and scalable back-end solutions using programming languages such as C# and/or Java.
- Design, implement, and maintain APIs to facilitate communication between front-end and back-end systems.
- Optimize performance of web applications by implementing best practices in database management, caching, and server-side processing.

Qualifications
Required:
- MID LEVEL: 1-10 years’ relevant experience and a STEM BS degree (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role.
- Proficiency in C# and/or Java.
- Experience with web frameworks such as ASP.NET, Spring Boot, etc.
- Solid understanding of database management systems and proficiency in writing efficient queries.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Secret clearance or ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance, for which one must be a US citizen.
