About the Role:
The Project Pursuit Sales Manager (PPSM) is a critical revenue-generating position, responsible for developing and advancing project opportunities through the sales process. In this role, you’ll collaborate with Regional Sales Managers (RSMs), sales leadership, and customers to manage a portfolio of assigned projects and build a robust project funnel. You will also serve as a domain expert in customer-facing project situations and take the lead in building strategic relationships with Engineering & Consulting (E&C) firms, System Integrators (SIs), and OEM accounts to drive sales success.
A Day in the Life:
- Source and Develop Projects: Identify new project opportunities and implement strategies for project pursuit, including pricing, prospecting, and service offerings.
- Manage Projects: Lead and manage a portfolio of projects, ensuring accuracy and progress within the project funnel, while providing expert guidance on customer specifications and requirements.
- Influence Key Accounts: Travel to key customer sites to drive project discovery and progression, building strong relationships along the way.
