Position Summary:
As a Senior UX Researcher, you are a strategic thinker with a passion for uncovering multi-method customer insights that inspire and inform design, and make our digital experiences as strong as possible. You play a pivotal role in prioritizing, defining, executing, delivering, and communicating research findings to Pax8 teams that will ultimately help drive strategy and product direction. You will help the team connect business strategy and KPIs with rigorously-collected insights that create new exceptional experiences, as well as optimize existing experiences for our multiple types of end users.
You will own research projects end-to-end for their team of designers, product managers, engineers, and executives or will help guide fellow colleagues with conducting their own research via our research democratization program. Moreover, as the newest member of our growing research team, you will help us optimize our methodologies, tools, and process as we strive to improve our craft and systematically deliver breakthrough insights.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Partner with Product Owners, Product Managers, UX Designers, Customer Experience stakeholders, and other Pax8 team members to understand customer needs and opportunities
- Lead high-level, strategic research initiatives utilizing innovative research methods and experiments to help drive product direction for the organization
- Own the user research process throughout the product lifecycle, from problem definition and research planning to synthesis and stakeholder buy-in.
- Create and maintain your research roadmap in partnership with product, UX, marketing, and CX teams.
- Effectively communicate and evangelize design thinking throughout the organization with compelling storytelling.

About the Position
The IT change manager will be responsible for ensuring that the impact of new or upgraded IT systems and projects is managed in an effective way to ensure the delivery of desired business outcomes. The IT change manager will work with the larger IT team to support and guide them through the required steps to implement systems related change. The change manager will help to articulate the way in which the changes will affect the users on a day-to-day basis.

Lead Solutions Engineer

About the Position
The Lead Solutions Engineer responds to the customer RFP (Request for Proposal) with an effective logistics solution by drawing upon data analytics, industrial engineering, design engineering, an understanding of IT WMS (Warehouse Management System) functionality, knowledge of Operations, and the ability to present/correspond directly to the Customer effectively and succinctly.
Functions
- Select the best methods to store the customers product safely and efficiently
- Estimate the square feet needed for real estate to start a search for a building with the correct ceiling height.
- Industrial Engineering: process mapping, value stream mapping, process design, space planning and layout design (using CAD), index and scope creep measurement, and inventory & slotting assessments.
- Create warehousing workflows and process on how to receive, pick, pack and ship customer goods based on the requirements
- Build labor standards and align IT WMS to support warehousing workflows and processes
- Select the appropriate material handling equipment to work with the solution
- Based on solutions selected, price the solution in the pro forma. Utilize Kenco Pricing model to process data, and coordinate with Real Estate, IT and HR for additional pricing data.
- Understand cost structures (Cost +, FVR [Fixed-Variable-Reimbursable], Unit Rates), Operations (shift structures, seasonality, direct vs. indirect ratio, staffing and training, etc.), and basic financial concepts and company thresholds.
- Apply labor rates of job classes to the hours from the processes and the rates for the management team and coordinators/clerks that support the direct labor
- Acquire costs for the storage equipment, forklifts, IT hardware, building improvements, etc.
- Adjust the pricing to the customer template. Obtain client profile data from sales department.
- Support the sales team with a description of the process, innovations used in the solution, and continual revisions.
- Present pricing proposals to internal and external customers. Present pricing information clients in a way that commands their confidence.
