Phantom is looking for a Trust & Safety Lead with a thorough understanding of the web3 ecosystem. This includes smart contracts and common attack vectors, along with areas of weakness in fraud prevention in current consumer web3 solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating with the Security, Support, and Legal teams at Phantom, as well as third-party security teams, to ensure that processes and solutions remain up to date.
  • Leading product initiatives to prevent Phantom users from being phished.
  • Creating highly automated and accurate solutions for detecting in-app spam tokens and collectible.
  • Handling high-loss cases (white-glove support), in coordination with our forensics and security partners.
  • Managing partners related to fraud prevention, as well as identifying and working with new ones as needed.
  • Creating tooling for support, security, and T&S teams to utilize, such as portals for whitelisting false positives, adding domains to the blocklist, etc.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in crypto, specifically with noncustodial solutions (protocols, wallets, dapps).
  • Experience or educational background in security/fraud prevention.
  • Well-connected and integrated into the web3 ecosystem, staying informed about events, trends, and changes.

  • Own departments and/or categories as well as the attached sales and profit goals for the ecommerce team while managing associated vendor relationships.
