To support our mission, we are seeking a Director, Quality with expertise in food and dietary supplement cGMPs, quality management, and enterprise compliance programs to join our team.

What youll do:

  • Manage cGMP Compliance Program:Oversee Fullscripts cGMP compliance program, including development and maintenance of internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), employee training, and internal and external audits, and monitoring continuous quality improvements.
  • Leadership and Mentorship:Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the Quality team, ensuring alignment with compliance objectives and professional development goals. Collaborate with senior team members accountable for running specific compliance areas.
  • Regulatory Interpretation:Collaborate with the Legal department to interpret and apply federal and state regulatory requirements for dietary supplements, food, health & wellness products, and other distributed goods in the United States and Canada.
  • Supplier and Vendor Oversight:Collaborate with senior team members responsible for supplier and vendor management to monitor Fullscript suppliers and vendors, ensuring compliance with government regulations and Fullscript quality standards.
  • Regulatory Monitoring:Stay updated on FDA, FTC, and Health Canada actions and publications, as well as industry publications, to ensure Fullscripts quality practices remain best in class. Work closely with senior team members in regulatory monitoring efforts.
  • Safety Programs and Facilities Management:Oversee safety programs at distribution centers and office facilities, collaborating with senior team members responsible for facilities management. Assist in budgeting and overseeing facilities management activities related to compliance and safety.
  • Knowledge Sharing and Collaboration:Enhance team knowledge through active knowledge sharing, collaboration, and mentorship initiatives. Work closely with senior team members to ensure alignment and collaboration across compliance areas.

Experience & Requirements:

  • Technical Proficiency:A technically proficient leader and subject matter expert who can collaborate cross-functionally across all levels of the organization, serving as a compliance/regulatory interpreter to assist teams in applying complex regulations into functional processes. Prior experience with building or transforming quality programs.
  • Ownership:Proven ability to deal with time-sensitive problems using technical, industry, product knowledge, and relationship-building skills to achieve resolutions to implementation issues, including reporting to senior leadership as applicable.
  • Team Management:Ability to provide leadership and guidance to team members, collaborating with senior team members accountable for running specific compliance areas with little oversight, and can think critically about the team, processes, and the task at hand.
  • Results Oriented:Ability to prioritize issues and quality actions, and assess, create, adopt, and manage quality control and compliance processes, and successful completion of audits by applicable regulatory agencies.

Description

TheSolution Center Managerprovides direct management to all Solution Center Team Members. National Forest Foundation (NFF)is pleased to offer a full-time, exempt, 3-year term position that will help coordinate the NFFs outgoing grantmaking to advance the organizations conservation grantmaking efforts nationwide.

Position Function:The Conservation Awards Coordinator reports to the Conservation Awards Manager and works closely with Conservation Awards and other Conservation Program staff to support the mission and strategic conservation and engagement goals of the NFF and its local, regional, and national partners. The incumbent is responsible for implementation and coordination of grantmaking and grant management processes for outgoing awards.

The initially assigned grantmaking portfolio for this position will focus on coordinating outgoing competitive grants that support community engagement, stewardship activities that benefit National Forests and Grasslands, and capacity building of underserved or underrepresented communities. Key portions of this position will seek to center the voices, diverse needs, and unique perspectives of Tribes and underserved community stakeholders and include a robust equity and inclusion focus.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:The Conservation Awards Coordinator is responsible for:

  • Coordinating development and pre- and post-award administration of assigned grantmaking docket:
  • Collaborating with Conservation Awards Manager to develop and refine assigned grantmaking programs.
  • Coordinating with assigned staff to plan grantmaking strategy, manage timelines, and complete project review.
  • Coordinating with external grantee partners to answer questions, support development of grant proposals, and follow up on submissions.
  • Managing online proposal submission and review system and support of proposal review committees.
  • Conducting proposal review and due diligence including risk assessments.
  • Developing grant agreements and coordinating implementation of signature and filing processes.
  • Managing active grants including maintaining accurate project records, ongoing grantee communication, review of payments, review of reports, and other subrecipient monitoring.
  • Planning and executing communications with external conservation partners including promoting grant programs, writing project summaries, and other conservation-related content for external communication.
  • Helping to advance the NFFs organizational priority of diversifying its grantee base and engaging communities that have historically been underrepresented in public lands management.
  • Providing information and technical assistance to potential grant applicants.
  • Helping to ensure compliance with applicable policies and processes, including internal NFF policies as well as federal requirements.
  • Coordinating with other departments within the organization to ensure that grantmaking processes are effective and making recommendations for improvement.

Education and Qualifications:NFF expects the Conservation Awards Coordinator to possess the following educational and experiential qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in a related field or a minimum of three years of experience in grant or award administration and compliance, contract management, or related fields.
  • Experience working with tribal or other underserved communities is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and administrative skills.
  • Commitment to the mission of the NFF.
  • A general understanding of National Forest management, and/or other natural resource issues.
