As Marketing Associate at Section, you will be a core part of a small marketing team bringing top-notch business education to thousands of students worldwide.You will be the operational and organizational engine behind our team. You will work closely with the Head of Marketing to plan and manage integrated marketing campaigns that drive revenue, enterprise deals, and student body growth, and execute those campaigns at a high degree of fidelity.You will be responsible for organizing and project managing campaigns for upcoming courses and bootcamps, external events, promotions, and one-off marketing initiatives. You will also manage our partnerships with external partners like newsletters and influencers. You will work closely with our copywriter, designer, product lead, and email specialist to ensure that campaigns are delivered on time and at a high quality.This is a great opportunity for a highly organized, motivated professional who wants a lot of responsibility on a small and growing team. Responsibilities

-Develop and manage integrated marketing plans for Sections business courses, including email, social media, paid advertising, and website development

-Work closely with marketing specialists designers, copywriters, growth marketers, and email specialists to execute marketing campaigns on time

-Collaborate with the Email Marketing Manager to maintain the email calendar and manage deadlines

-In collaboration with the Head of Marketing, devise strategies to grow our marketing audience and revenue, possibly including but not limited to: affiliate marketing, paid ads, referral programs, etc.

-Own and manage our external event strategy, including creating event marketing plans, coordinating with speakers and other stakeholders, running planning calls, setting up event platforms, and reporting out data on event performance

-Manage our partnership strategy, serving as the key contact for newsletter sponsorships and influencer partnerships and reporting out on spend and results

-Update non-design elements of the marketing website using our Webflow CMS (note: you do not need to be proficient in Webflow, but some HTML experience is a plus)

-Oversee the marketing tech stack (including Webflow, Stripe, WordPress, Typeform, Saasquatch, and other tools) and co-own some technical marketing tasks in partnership with the Head of Engineering and our operational team

-Meet quick turnarounds and juggle multiple projects simultaneously

-Provide general support to new marketing initiatives and cross-functional projects as they arise

Qualifications

-3+ years experience in marketing

-Exceptional organizational skills, attention to deadlines, and ability to manage multiple priorities

-Strong project management skills and experience managing multi-step projects

-Proactive and responsive communication stylePassion for delivering high-quality campaigns on time with a high degree of fidelity

-A plus if you have experience with components of our marketing tech stack or similar tools, including: Webflow, Figma, Asana, Zapier, Stripe, and AI tools like ChatGPT

Responsibilities:

  • Provide claims handling on complex/latent claims in compliance with claims handling procedures, client SLA and within agreed authority levels, including accurately capturing and updating claims data/information in compliance with best practices.
  • Apply knowledge and judgement to determine liability by gathering and analyzing relevant facts; utilizing applicable law, determining existence of coverage and the applicability of such coverage to claims presented.
  • Work to reach a timely resolution to claims by developing case strategy, including developing a case evaluation and escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Establish timely reserves and perform ongoing review throughout claims cycle within authority limit by estimating and validating value of claims.
  • Negotiate settlement of claims by establishing appropriate negotiation strategy and utilizing available tools and resources; knowing when to escalate due to severity and complexity.


Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar claims management role gained within the insurance industry.
  • Appropriate state adjuster licensing required
  • Experience in general liability claims preferred
  • Degree educated ideally with insurance or legal qualifications

We are looking for an experienced, motivated, creative, and customer-focused user researcher to join our large tech clients design team that works on a variety of products, including most recently a large team collaboration and communication application.

In this role, you will partner cross-functionally with an interdisciplinary research, design, and engineering team, and across a variety of platforms and form factors (desktop, tablet, mobile, etc.). You will use a wide range of research methodologies including field research, traditional usability tests, protype testing, surveys, and telemetry research to help define, and ultimately deliver the next generation of experiences.

If you are the right fit, you are passionate about creating user experiences that empower users to be more productive and efficient. You have experience developing and executing research methods throughout all phases of software development to make sound recommendations and solve design problems. You have stellar oral and written communication skills and are effective at garnering support around research plans, ensuring appropriate action is taken within the highly collaborative environment.

This is a remote, contract engagement that could go for 12-18 months in duration, but budget will be re-approved on a quarterly basis.
