The VP of Implementation Services oversees a dynamic, globally distributed team, ensuring the effective implementation of our solutions post-sale through to the transition of customers to the Success and Support teams. This role emphasizes customer satisfaction, repeatable solution delivery, and strategic alignment with company priorities.As a global company, our staffoperate on a remote-first basis, with 200+ IS team members located across North America, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, India, and Australia.

This role is best suited for a customer-centric leader committed to driving change, fostering innovation, and propelling Granicus forward in delivering exceptional government experiences through strategic leadership and hands-on execution. Strong candidates will have deep experience leading large, complex teams and the executive presence to represent the IS function to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and Board of Directors (BoD). Qualified candidates will also have demonstrated experience aggressively prioritizing competing requirements from a diverse group of stakeholders.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and ensuring their success with Granicus solutions.
  • Oversee the customer journey from post-sale handover to Success and Support, ensuring a seamless transition and continued satisfaction.
  • Drive initiatives aimed at improving customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Leverage feedback mechanisms to gather insights from customers, using this data to inform improvements in service delivery.

What You’ll Do

  • Responsible for the strategy development, innovation, and tactical execution + performance of a few (3-5) Paid Media client accounts
  • Plan, implement and audit paid media campaigns & strategies that align with client KPIs and marketing goals
  • Successfully plan & execute campaigns in both Search and Social paid media platforms (Google, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok)
  • Responsible for strategizing & presenting both regular and ad hoc Paid Media deliverables to achieve clients’ marketing goals
  • Support channel innovation efforts, ensuring clients’ Paid Media strategies are following evolving best practices and using performance data to identify opportunities for new campaigns, optimizations, and testing
  • Regularly create, analyze, and present insightful and actionable Paid Media performance reports directly to clients
  • Leverage various tools to carry out analysis and to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of Paid Media accounts
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all things Paid Media for your owned clients; lead biweekly and ad hoc client calls to build & maintain strong client relationships

  • Collaborate with the Creative and Design team on ad creation and testing plans; assist with creative strategy and briefs as needed
  • Understand your clients industries, audience, and goals while staying on top of industry changes, trends, and best practices
  • Play an active role in retaining clients and aiding in client satisfaction through proactive communication, collaboration, problem-solving and issue resolution
  • Join in creative brainstorming sessions with other members of the Paid Media team to promote a culture of collaboration and innovation
  • Mentor and effectively delegate tasks and responsibilities to junior members of the team
  • Work with the Client Services team on overall account strategy & account growth + retention
  • Accept feedback and coaching from the Associate Director of Media to ensure our clients are receiving a best-in-class experience & top-notch performance

What Were Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience (minimum) managing Paid Search AND Social campaigns. (Main platforms are Google, Meta, LinkedIn, and TikTok)
  • Previous agency experience is a must-have!
  • Experience serving as the main point of contact on client engagements; strong comfortability being client-facing
  • Experience driving/leading paid media account strategy
  • Strong testing & innovation mentality
  • Advanced proficiency with Google Sheets/Excel
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics 4
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager and Supermetrics is a plus!
