About the Client Marketing Manager position:
You will assist clients in bolstering and improving their online marketing to produce the best ROI. You must have solid experience and expertise in marketing, maintaining a customer-based approach to everything you do. You will be well-informed on the value of digital tools and how they can add value to a company. Your ultimate mission is twofold: First, to create and maintain lasting client relationships that will continually grow our business, and second, to help develop great marketing campaigns that increase our clients’ businesses.

Client Marketing Manager responsibilities are:
- Stay current on digital technology trends, social media, and web analytics.
- Have an understanding of business marketing and how digital tools can add value to the client
- Proactively bring ideas and recommendations to the client (anticipate their needs and bring ideas to them before they need them. Ideas and recommendations should be based on actual data and how their marketing is performing)
- Report on, analyze, and explain monthly performance metrics to clients. This requires a sophisticated understanding of marketing trends and interpretation of marketing and trending analytics)
- Work with our strategy director to craft optimized digital marketing strategies specific to the clients’ evolving goals, target market, and objectives.
- Build and maintain lasting, important client relationships by frequently and proactively contacting them by phone, email, text, in person, and/or via Zoom. This means adhering to or exceeding Beacon Client Communication Standards. You should not wait for them to contact you. Successful Client Marketing Managers anticipate their needs, concerns, changing goals, and ideas.
- Communicate the client’s needs, goals, requests, etc., accurately and promptly to the production team and your account coordinator, as well as the feedback of the production team and account coordinator to the client.
- Successful Client Marketing Managers take authority and responsibility for the marketing relationship in a professional and respectful manner.
- Together with your account coordinator and the project coordinator, you will carry the ultimate responsibility for ensuring the timely and quality delivery of your clients’ projects and work. This means you take a proactive roll in upholding Beacon Quality Standards and deadlines.
- Client Marketing Managers are responsible for working with the department leads to ensure the result of their clients’ marketing efforts aligns with Beacon Standards and the clients’ goals.
Client Marketing Manager requirements are:
- Hands-on experience as a digital marketing account manager with at least 4 years of experience
- Experience successfully implementing and optimizing digital marketing campaigns
- Excellent customer service skills, verbal and written communication skills, and strong analytical skills.
- Deep understanding of social media, online marketing strategy, and customer relations.
- Upsell existing clients on services that would benefit them and increase their ROI
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a similar field is appreciated, but the experience is highly valued and a must.

Senior Director, eCommerce – Retail
The Senior Director, eCommerce for the Retail Customer Segment will be a part of the transformational retail sales team and responsible for managing one of the highest growth segments of our business. This role will be a part of a leadership team building and shaping our retail strategy, the direct manager of a team that will support Pure Play eCommerce customers, as well as an individual contributor developing strategy, building client relationships, and planning initiatives.
This is a full-time, remote position.
WHAT YOULL DO
- Manage and take accountability for the Pure Play eCommerce Channel P&L, including annual planning, budget optimization, demand planning, and D2C strategy development in order to achieve key performance revenue and margin targets, mutually beneficial partnerships, and operational KPIs
- Drive eCommerce customer strategies, including customer, manufacturer and promotional annual planning, growth and optimization
- Directly and indirectly inform and execute manufacturer strategies with partners
- Lead and influence cross-functional teams to define and deliver strategic retail initiatives aimed at achieving Vetsource and customer goals
- Develop initiative/project/program plans, including goals, strategy/approach, schedule, risks, contingency plans, and resource allocation to reach goals for Pure Play customers
- Build eCommerce expertise across the organization in addition to coaching direct reports
- Partner closely with operations catalog and category management on forecasts, merchandising, marketing strategy, and short/long-term risks
- Build strong partnerships with veterinary and industry sales account teams and stakeholders to identify opportunities to inform strategy
- Maintain a proficient level of expertise in the eCommerce, veterinary, retail, and pharmacy retail industries; keep up to date with evolving trends and opportunities
WHAT YOU BRING
- At least 10 years of experience managing large eCommerce partnerships, growing top-line revenue and expertly managing bottom-line profitability
- 5+ years of experience driving D2C strategies on an eCommerce platform such as Amazon or Shopify, or other third-party selling platform
- 9+ years of experience in strategic account management and negotiation
- 9+ years of experience in strategic business plan building and owning of the end-to-end customer experience
- Experience in the pet industry
- Demonstrated business acumen and superior relationship-building and influencing skills
- Demonstrated strong leadership, planning, and organization skills, including project and program management
