Dun & Bradstreet is seeking a highly talented, innovative, and collaborative Senior User Experience (UX) Designer to join our team! As a member of the UX team, you will help drive the user experience for our Data Management solutions. Our User Experience Designers are innovators who are willing to question the status quo, energized by developing creative solutions to complex problems, and are great communicators.

As a Senior User Experience Designer at D&B, you will be responsible for designing solutions that are perceived as highly valuable, useful, and intuitive for users. Our designers are partners on core teams consisting of a Product Manager, UX Designer, and Lead Engineer. This core team works closely together to frame customer and business problems with teams through research, concept, and design validation.

What you’ll be doing:

  • The ideal candidate will thrive in an Agile work environment that requires strong independent problem-solving skills, self-direction, and innovative thinking coupled with an aptitude and affinity for team collaboration and open communication
  • You will be the UX Design lead in product development teams partnering with product and engineering peers to discover and deliver new web-based software through the entire product development lifecycle.
  • Create and test your design solutions to validate the value, usefulness and usability and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Contribute effective documentation and communication of the user experience.
  • Build lasting relationships with multiple product teams and contribute to an open, creative, dynamic, and productive atmosphere.
  • You will foster collaboration both inside and outside the team, evangelize and promote UX within the company, and can juggle several high-level projects simultaneously.
  • You can confidently justify design decisions based on a thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies

What we’ll want you to have:

  • A user-centric mindset with the ability to balance UX best practices with project goals.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5yrs of related industry experience or Master’s degree with 3yrs of related industry experience.
  • Proven experience with using a variety of user research, prototyping and visual design tools such as Figma, FigJam, Lookback, Axure, Sketch, Miro, GainSight, etc.
  • Experience designing solutions for end-to-end scenarios that involve multiple users and personas.
  • Able to understand highly complex products and problem spaces and turn those problems into easy-to-use solutions for customers.
  • Ability to know when and how to use various tools in your toolbox and persuade others about your design process.
  • Experience with a variety of user research techniques and the knowledge to select the correct methodology based on situational need.
  • Ability to translate company goals and objectives into high-performing digital experiences

On this project, your role will be to assist customers via tickets with various requests such as how-to inquiries regarding the software, and questions about products available, previous orders, and billing issues.

Project Hours (All Times Pacific):

  • 7 am – 5 pm, Monday – Sunday

Hourly Rate:

  • To be discussed in the interview phase

Commitment:

  • 20 hours per week
  • 90 days (as needed)

What We Are Looking For:

  • Customer service and technical support background
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable building on macros and crafting custom responses to customers based on their inquiries
  • Familiarity with Zendesk is a plus, but not required
  • Ability to connect to client-provided VPN
  • Must have 6 gigs or more of RAM.
  • Must be able to work at least 4 hours on the weekend

Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience developing backend or developer infrastructure, with 7+ years of product management experience in those areas.
  • Passionate about improving developer productivity, product quality, and automating/optimizing developer workflows.
  • Demonstrated empathy for key developer pain points, and a track record of leadership in building products for developers
  • Strong understanding of technical architecture and development process for distributed systems
  • Experience with managing multiple product team roadmaps to build cohesive developer ecosystems, platforms and tools.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and pair bold product vision with execution
  • Strong written and verbal communication ability to influence and drive strategy with a wide range of stakeholders, from C-suite execs to technical partners

Pay

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base pay for this role is between $180,000 and $230,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.

Title: Senior Product Manager, Machine Learning Platform

As our Senior Product Manager, you are a strategic leader on Xometry’s product management team, and are responsible for one of Xometry’s critical products. You will own the overall product strategy and vision for their product, develop and maintain a squad-specific strategy/vision, and hold squad members accountable for outcomes. In this position, you are the primary catalyst to get everyone rowing in the right direction, and helping the squad succeed.

The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for delivering technology and services consumed internally and externally. You will deliver services that drive internal efficiency, and power delightful new experiences for Xometry buyers and partners.

Our Data Science “products” are a critical aspect of the user experience at Xometry. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding Xometry’s business and platform, engaging with internal and external stakeholders, identifying opportunities to add value to the platform using data science and machine learning, developing roadmaps, and working directly with technology leadership and all parts of the organization to manage the execution of the roadmap, including communication, marketing, and release plans.

What You’ll Do:

  • Translate a deep understanding of Xometry’s business, data science & machine learning capabilities into a compelling product vision and strategy that create customer and business value
  • Guide data-powered services through their lifecycle, advocate for new product opportunities or deprecations, and address challenges, barriers, and dependencies with stakeholders
  • Lead large, complex, cross-squad, and cross-team projects to deliver on your product strategy, with a singular focus on driving business results

What You’ll Need:

  • 5+ years of experience in high-growth marketplace, SaaS, or product-led tech environments
  • Direct experience working as a product manager for data products, at a company with a web-based product where the technology of the company is the product.
  • Deep understanding of the data science toolkit, including computational geometry, machine learning, statistical models, and model deployment
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, particularly in discussing deeply technical topics with non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience making trade-offs between technical scale, business outcomes, and customer needs
  • Experience building roadmaps, managing product backlogs, and working closely with software development teams to build new products and features in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience using data and metrics to test theories, confirm assumptions and measure success
  • A plus if you have a bachelor’s degree or postgraduate work in computer science or a related technical field and technical proficiency in one or more programming / scripting languages (SQL, Python, JS, etc); you consider yourself a technologist

Job Description: We are looking for a part-time experienced Graphic Design Specialist to support various client projects. Applicants should have the ability to work from home up to 100% of time with potential to report to a government office in Washington D.C. or meetings at Links Global offices in Maryland.

  • Graphic designers should have skills to design and layout a variety of material from magazines and reports to posters and brochures utilizing Adobe Creative Cloud software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and MS Office.
  • Design skills should also include basic web design and ability to work with a content management system such as WordPress.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Understand and strictly follow client style, branding, and marking guidelines
  • Ensure efficient and effective print and multimedia design and layout of print and web publications in accordance with Section 508 (Accessibility standards)
  • Work to develop a clear understanding of project visual communication requirements and develop design “roughs” (sketches), illustrations, and infographics
  • Prepare comprehensive designs and layouts using design elements in photography, illustration, computer-generated imagery, and text for print and electronic publications

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience
