Dun & Bradstreet is seeking a highly talented, innovative, and collaborative Senior User Experience (UX) Designer to join our team! As a member of the UX team, you will help drive the user experience for our Data Management solutions. Our User Experience Designers are innovators who are willing to question the status quo, energized by developing creative solutions to complex problems, and are great communicators.

As a Senior User Experience Designer at D&B, you will be responsible for designing solutions that are perceived as highly valuable, useful, and intuitive for users. Our designers are partners on core teams consisting of a Product Manager, UX Designer, and Lead Engineer. This core team works closely together to frame customer and business problems with teams through research, concept, and design validation.

What you’ll be doing:

  • The ideal candidate will thrive in an Agile work environment that requires strong independent problem-solving skills, self-direction, and innovative thinking coupled with an aptitude and affinity for team collaboration and open communication
  • You will be the UX Design lead in product development teams partnering with product and engineering peers to discover and deliver new web-based software through the entire product development lifecycle.
  • Create and test your design solutions to validate the value, usefulness and usability and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Contribute effective documentation and communication of the user experience.
  • Build lasting relationships with multiple product teams and contribute to an open, creative, dynamic, and productive atmosphere.
  • You will foster collaboration both inside and outside the team, evangelize and promote UX within the company, and can juggle several high-level projects simultaneously.
  • You can confidently justify design decisions based on a thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies

What we’ll want you to have:

  • A user-centric mindset with the ability to balance UX best practices with project goals.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5yrs of related industry experience or Master’s degree with 3yrs of related industry experience.
  • Proven experience with using a variety of user research, prototyping and visual design tools such as Figma, FigJam, Lookback, Axure, Sketch, Miro, GainSight, etc.
  • Experience designing solutions for end-to-end scenarios that involve multiple users and personas.
  • Able to understand highly complex products and problem spaces and turn those problems into easy-to-use solutions for customers.
  • Ability to know when and how to use various tools in your toolbox and persuade others about your design process.
  • Experience with a variety of user research techniques and the knowledge to select the correct methodology based on situational need.
  • Ability to translate company goals and objectives into high-performing digital experiences
  • Excellent written, verbal and diagrammatic communication skills.
