About the Role
As a Designer on our Brand Studio team, your contributions will be key in helping us distinguish and define Ramp as the brand leader in our category. Ramp Design is a multi-disciplinary team comprising product design, brand design, writing, and operations. We work on high-impact and foundational projects across the companyshaping our brand to codify the design systems that underpin our website, advertising, and marketing materials.
The ideal candidate has experience working within a design system and on a broad range of marketing executions. You’ll be responsible for contribution and execution of a visual design systemincluding the web design, type, editorial, building and maintaining image libraries, assisting on art direction for photoshoots, and motion. You’ll work alongside the Creative Director and in-house Brand Studio in addition to contractors and agency partners.

What You Need
- Kind, curious, and generous
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in visual design for web
- Experience building and maintaining elaborate websites

- Empathetic and a grasp of the mental models that make design systems understandable
- Proficiency in but not limited to Figma, Framer, Principle, After Effects
- Ability to tackle complex problems from both a high level (systems level) and from a tactical/executional level
- Strong grasp of interface-design skills you understand the impact of motion, viewport sizes, etc

- Ability to estimate timelines and manage time effectively; Ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast paced environment; be a self starter and proactive

Compensation
- The annual salary/OTE range for the target level for this role in NYC is $123,250-$145,000 + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)

Systems Engineer, Infrastructure
GitHub is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join the team that provides the foundation on which the world’s largest network of code is built. We’re experiencing tremendous growth and need your help making our vision of infrastructure-at-scale a reality.
Systems Engineers on the Physical Infrastructure team at GitHub are responsible for supporting the GitHub facilities, hardware within facilities, and day to day operations with an eye towards automation of ongoing support workloads. They troubleshoot, identify, and address hardware issues as they arise and help to ensure GitHub hardware continues to support the world’s code. Even more importantly they put in place systems to detect and even mitigate the same problem early the next time around.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain our global physical infrastructure.
* Work with OEMs, ODMs, and VARs to build and integrate efficient and economical break/fix processes and systems.
* Collaborate with network, systems, and software engineers to design and optimize our physical infrastructure.
* Work with our team of operations contractors to ensure hardware issues are addressed and remediated quickly, with minimal human touch points.
* Participate in an on-call rotation and quickly respond to issues and work to prevent them in the future
* Partner within the team and across the organization to help with occasional major rollouts and maintenance. Some travel may be necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
2 + Years Experience supporting global physical infrastructure
2+ Years Experience with shell scripting and Linux
Understanding of network engineering and compute systems
Strong verbal and written communication skills and the desire to continue to further cultivate technical skills
A pragmatic approach to decision making and design choices.
Bonus Qualifications:
* Experience working in (or closely with) data centers and servers
* Experience writing software to make managing data center infrastructure easier, faster and less labor intensive
* Familiarity in high-level languages such as Ruby, Go, Rust and/or Python.
* Familiarity with configuration management software such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or Salt.
* Experience diagnosing and resolving performance and reliability problems at the intersection of hardware and software.
Minimum salary of $104,400 to maximum $234,300 + bonus + equity + benefits.

Responsibilities
The responsibilities for the position include but are not limited to:
- Serves as thought leader in project execution and business development, specifically towards work conducted for CMS and the CMS Innovation Center (CMMI).
- Directs execution of large complex projects or portfolio of smaller projects; oversees the planning, design, and implementation of project procedures;
- Leads proposal efforts including review of proposals for sound practices and techniques, briefings, and client relation/development activities; and
- Serves as industry expert for alternative payment models, value-based reimbursement, or Medicare payment policies.

Qualifications
Education, Knowledge, and Experience:
- P.H in a related field with a minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience managing and conducting research or related work or a Ph.D. with 10 or more years of related experience.
- Minimum of 10 years project management experience.
- Direct experience on prior or current CMMI alternative payment model contracts preferable.
- Proven track record of winning new business with CMS, AHRQ, or other HHS agencies.
- Extensive knowledge of Medicare payment policy, Medicare Advantage, or the CMS Market place
- Knowledge of Medicare claims, provider claims, survey data, and other publicly available datasets.
Skills:
- Must possess strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Extensive success in writing, conceptualizing, analyzing, and consulting on large-scale federally funded projects.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical material succinctly and accurately using plain language.
