The Team

The Growth Team is in charge of expanding Upstart’s reach to the millions of Americans without access to affordable credit. We are energized by the prospect of breaking ground in our field and making a positive impact on people’s financial lives. We are looking for a full-stack growth marketing manager, who can help us grow our new products sustainably through compelling and creative ways.

As the Growth Marketing Manager, New Products at Upstart, you will work with and lead cross-functional teams to drive momentum and deliver on ambitious goals. The role requires managing by influence, working with and thriving in ambiguity, and driving measurable change.

Position Location – This role is available in the following locations: Remote, USA #LI-REMOTE

Time Zone Requirements – This team operates on the East/West Coast time zones.

Travel Requirements – This team has regular on-site collaboration sessions. These occur a maximum of 3 consecutive days, once per Month, at the San Mateo, CA office. If you need to travel to make these meetups, Upstart will cover all travel related expenses.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Oversee your product’s P&L to determine omni-channel allocation based on optimization, incrementality and experiments, and overall business goals
  • Test new marketing channels and ad products end-to-end from tracking and technical integration to optimizing and measuring success.
  • Partnering with a Product Manager, create, prioritize, execute, and evaluate growth experiments to optimize marketing spend & conversion
  • Work closely with Product, Data Science, and Performance marketing leaders to drive success of your product areas; lead cross-functional working teams to meet goals
  • Drive continuous improvements in messaging, creative, and channel to increase conversion. Be holistic in approach to ensure users see a consistent narrative from creative to the landing page.
  • Plan and manage campaigns and budgets to meet efficiency targets

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum requirements:
    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field
    • 7+ years of B2C marketing experience
    • Experience driving growth through digital, Direct mail , offline and social channels
    • Experience working with and/or managing cross-functional teams
    • Background in Growth Marketing
    • Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns
    • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills

At Upstart, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. The anticipated base salary for this position is expected to be within this range: $111,300-$154,000. Your actual base pay will depend on your geographic locationwith our digital first philosophy, Upstart uses compensation regions that vary depending on location. Individual pay is also determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Position Summary

Come be a Part of the Future of Tomb Raider! Crystal Dynamics is seeking a Senior Tools & Pipelines Technical Artist who is passionate about supporting the Art team with intuitive tools and content pipelines while building a solid foundation for future development. An ideal candidate is exceptionally technically capable but also has a strong understanding of effective UI/UX from a content creator’s perspective. This individual should be able to work autonomously and self-manage their time effectively on a day-to-day basis, with all the requisite technical art skills, tools, and relevant work experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Architect tools and pipelines to support the needs of the project’s content creation team
  • Contribute to, maintain, and set standards for a large codebase of core Python API’s / libraries
  • Support 3rd party DCC applications, including writing tools and custom plug-ins, managing content between applications, and investigating, integrating, and managing new applications
  • Build artist-oriented user interfaces for tools based on UI / UX principles to create art centric toolsets, focusing on increasing productivity, aiding workflow, and reducing human error
  • Mentor less experienced members of the Technical Art team and identify opportunities for them to grow their abilities
  • Provide day-to-day technical guidance on tool and pipeline initiatives, including code and design document reviews
  • Establish efficient content workflows, processes, and best practices through writing documentation and technical design documents that are understandable to a wide audience
  • Assist in educating art staff from a technical, workflow and efficiency standpoint. Help artists troubleshoot pipeline issues and collect feedback for future improvements

  • Expert technical knowledge of Python, Maya, and tool / pipeline development for games
  • Highly self-motivated and able to confidently design, implement, and optimize tools and pipelines for content creators, working closely with leadership to define roadmaps, provide guidance on priorities, and anticipate future roadblocks

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the game development (or relevant) industry developing AAA console titles with at least one shipped title

  • Demonstrated expert skillset in Python, Maya, and UI/UX design
  • Familiarity with C++/C#, Javascript, MEL, ShotGrid, and USD (Universal Scene Description)
  • Experience developing tools for Substance Designer/Painter, Houdini, and Photoshop

The pay range for this role includes the base salary, not including bonus and the generous benefits package that Crystal Dynamics provides all full-time employees.   • Develop and maintain the company’s policies, procedures, and guidelines designed to address global privacy requirements, including those arising in the US (i.e., HIPAA/HITECH), APAC and EMEA (i.e., GDPR).

Minimum Requirements:

  • JD from an accredited US law school and good standing with at least one US state bar.
  • At least 8+ years of in-house legal department experience, law firm and/or government experience.
  • Demonstrated interest in privacy and/or corporate security. Completion of IAPP courses, CIPM/CIPT/CISSP certifications and any other additional post-graduate qualifications or certifications preferred.
  • Expertise in and track record dealing with global privacy and data regulatory frameworks, in particular as related to cybersecurity and data localization.
  • Knowledge and experience in advising on cloud computing, privacy enhancing technology, and cybersecurity.
  • A sense of urgency with a results-driven orientation and excellent organizational skills.
