Responsibilities
You’ll interact with up to 5 customers at a time using various media channels; those channels may include inbound calls, inbound chats, or outbound calls, as dictated by business need. You will be expected to start by supporting the level 1 queue and quickly enhancing your skillset by supporting more advanced queues. These enhanced skill sets typically take place within 60 days of employment. Further skillset enhancements into second level support may be required based on business needs.

Evolve is looking for a Senior Specialist, Knowledge Management to join our rapidly growing team and help enable teammate success by ensuring the right knowledge is getting to the right people at the right time and in the right ways. The Senior Specialist, Knowledge Management will work across all teams in the organization to develop and organize materials for continuous learning opportunities for all Evolvers, with a specific focus on customer-facing teams. What you’ll do
- Document and share learning and knowledge resources, ensuring that the right knowledge is getting to the right people at the right time (and in the right way)
- Scope and implement lasting knowledge management solutions to enable customer-facing teams across the business
- Support change management and adoption of new customer-facing policies and procedures by identifying relevant existing resources, involving key stakeholders, and consulting on roll out plans and enablement strategy
- Work with customer-facing teams to ensure all SOPs (standard operating procedures) are maintained and kept up to date in a rapidly changing environment
- Partner with subject matter experts to enable ongoing knowledge management best practices (e.g. auditing, updating, and organizing SOPs)

- Create and evolve knowledge management user experience (UX) to best support learner needs

What makes you a great fit

Location

Compensation
For this role our salary range is $67,000 – $77,000, depending on relevant experience

ABOUT THE JOB
As a Senior Support Project Manager, your typical day may include:
- Working with developers to understand technical concepts, and translating those concepts into layman’s terms for our clients.
- Overseeing multiple clients and projects, and the Kanopi developers and UX/UI resources that support them
- Leading the onboarding of existing accounts transitioning from Build, and the kickoff of new accounts joining Support
- Understanding a client’s business needs and being able to clearly convey those to Kanopi team members
- Facilitating regular meetings with clients; articulating next steps, demonstrating new features and functionality, and proactively identifying needs
- Curating a backlog of work for each project; ensuring project teams have the clear information they need, working with clients to fill in any gaps, and prioritizing as needed
- Identifying and sharing potential larger projects with the Management team or strategically determining when a larger initiative would be beneficial for the account
- Personally handling “quick win” WordPress or Drupal site configurations and content entry prior to escalating to the development team.
- Critically evaluating tasks to ensure the ask is the right solution
- Expediting urgent requests or needs, and prioritizing work accordingly
- Carefully monitoring budgets and timelines to ensure tasks are completed on-budget, and on-time; keeping clients and Kanopi management in the know by reporting with hours and progress updates on a regular basis
- Working with clients and project teams to remove barriers to completing work
- Explaining complex technical concepts to clients using clear non-technical language
- Forecasting and resourcing appropriate Kanopi team members based on a project’s needs; including front-end/back-end developers, UX strategists, and designers
- Gaining a deep understanding of the clients’ web properties you manage to anticipate and recommend appropriate needs to clients
- Reviewing completed work (designs, documents, development work) to ensure a standard or quality before clients review
- Demonstrating good time management skills to stay on top of your workload and the team members’ you are managing
- Learning to sense impending burnout in developers and yourself, and proactively prevent this
- Knowing when to push back on behalf of Kanopi’s best interests, and when to escalate situations to the attention of Management
- Maintaining a calm demeanor when in stressful or high-pressure situations

ABOUT THE COMPENSATION & WORK REQUIREMENTS
This is a full-time position. The salary range for this position is $75,400-$105,600 – the range is broad, but it is commensurate with experience, aligned with current members of our team with similar experience, and may shift a bit depending on your geographic location. This is a 100% remote role, but you must live and be able to work in the US or Canada.

Why is this role important?
Test Automation for QA reduces repeated manual testing and ensures that regression testing is completed for every release. Presence QA focuses on usability as well as functionality. Test automation will cover both functionality, user acceptance testing, boundary and negative testing, and complex data dependency scenarios. The goal for test automation is to be able to have tests be comprehensive so that every release goes out with a very high degree of confidence that the features for our users continue to work well with minimal surprises.
What will you do at Presence?
- Create a test automation framework: work with stakeholders to draft a requirements proposal for review and approval; implement a skeleton framework with example use cases for review; and complete the framework according to feedback from stakeholders
- Develop and maintain test data creation tool by working with backend developers
- Working with the QA team to write test cases that cover functional, negative, boundary, and UI expectations for test automation
- Maintaining a track record of test runs, updating test cases that have been impacted by feature changes, and working with software developers on ways to improve test automation
- Create test runs that focus on the features, user scenarios and appropriate regression testing, which will require understanding the spectrum, context and related features
- Do test runs and provide test results feedback to the QA and development teams
- Train and mentor QA engineers in writing additional test automation test cases using the framework
What are we looking for?
- 4+ years experience testing software, being involved in the software development process and with release engineering processes doing functional, regression, and UI testing.
- 4+ years strong programming experience, preferably in JavaScript, and/or Python, with experience in current testing tools, e.g., Playwright, Cypress, etc.
- Development experience using the primary software engineering principles of modularity, reusability, abstraction, etc
- 2+ years experience specifically implementing test automation frameworks from the ground up using automation tools such as Playwright or Cypress
- Experience with writing SQL queries and working with graphQL or other web based APIs required. Experience with AWS is highly desired.
- As communication is key to conveying your work, you need to be able to have excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Work well autonomously, in cross-functional teams, and in a distributed workforce
