Job Overview
IGT is looking for an experienced Senior developer to join their wonderful and well-established Enovia/Matrix PLM Apps team! This is a remote position.
Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs and analyze user needs and developed software solutions.
Develop and support the Enovia/Matrix PLM application, used by the engineering departments, firmware departments and other business groups. Implement enhancement as per business need using process defined by group and as per SDLC or Agile Methodology. Preparation of specifications, server maintenance and building information or any other documentation as per need.
Support other engineering and corporate applications. This includes upgrades, performance monitoring, recovery, and general user support issues. Analyze, debug and fix issues raised by business users. Issues could be with PLM application or related to Matrix application’s interface with other applications.
Process mapping & business process analysis (as-is, to-be), process re-engineering and process optimization.
This role will also be required to successfully build credible partnerships across business functions, stakeholders, and other members of Enterprise Apps team to collaboratively define, deliver and support Enovia/Matrix PLM solution.
You Will
- Experience with upgrading Enovia/Matrix Product to 2020x/2021x/2022, involving hands-on experience in the development and customization of Enovia PLM using Engineering Central, Part/BOM Management, Library central, Program Central and Product Central in a V6 environment.
- Developing using Java, MQL, TCL, ADK, AEF, J2EE, JSP, JPO in Eclipse development environment, as well as working with HTML, XSLT, XML, DOM, AJAX, and JavaScript. Working knowledge with Spinner.
- Must have good experience working with batch jobs.
- SQL Server administration, and performance improvement for Enovia/Matrix application.
- Working on data Migration, SAP Integration and Solid works Integration.
- Experience with source control management (GIT or TFS)
- Development and customization using Matrix/Enovia Webservices and SOAP & REST Protocol.
- Involved in entire PLM Software Development Life Cycle including requirements gathering, analysis, design, coding, debugging, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Support systems validation/testing to SOX, and other regulatory compliance, as needed.
- Work with Enterprise Apps management and staff to develop and maintain standards, processes, and documentation.
- Participate in incident management activities for critical incidents, outages, or other performance issues.
- Perform other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned
You Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or equivalent work experience
- Around 8 years of experience in developing with Enovia/Matrix application
- Ability to work independently with little oversight and direction.

The Team
Our data systems use an exciting array of technologies. Most of our data systems use Python and key parts of our systems are written in Clojure, Java, C, and Lua where the requirements demand it. Responsibilities
As our Chief Architect, you will help the company set its future technical direction, anticipating what problems we need to solve today to support development 1-2 years out. You’ll partner with Engineering, Product, and Data Science leadership to develop requirements and make build-vs-buy decisions on new technologies. This isn’t just a leadership role — you’ll be building prototypes and initial implementations that can prove out new technologies before they’re adopted by product development teams.
The Role

- As the Chief Architect, you will have the opportunity to work with Chartbeat’s leadership team while developing long-term strategies and solutions for our software products
- Build prototypes and v1 versions of industry changing technologies, and partner with our engineering teams for implementation

- Stay current on new and emerging technologies and raise the profile of Chartbeat technology by writing and speaking on our behalf
- Oversee key development upgrades, document requirements, and performance needs for large Engineering initiatives
About You
- 10+ years experience as an engineer, including at least 5 years working on server-side projects
- Passionate about data engineering
- Experience working with Kafka, Postgres, Data warehouses
- Strong development experience in Python
- Experience running code in a cloud environment, ideally on AWS
- Proven experience tech leading large scale projects (migrations, new builds)
- Desire to mentor engineering team members
- Self motivated and can work independently with little supervision
- Interested in owning complex projects end-to-end, and communicate broadly to internal stakeholders
- Experience working on end-user products, ideally SaaS, is highly desirable

What you’ll do:
