DCG Communications (DCG) is seeking a Communications & Web Content Specialist to provide content development on a fast-paced, high-profile multi-million-dollar federal client account preventing terrorism and targeted violence. The Communications Specialist will be responsible for managing web content development from start to finish, with an emphasis on resource management, SEO, and UX. They will also be responsible for providing communications product updates including but not limited to content revision, communication planning for various lines of effort, and toolkit development. Additionally, they will liaise with the client to understand their needs and adjust content accordingly.

The Specialist will work collaboratively with a team of communications professionals, including project managers, communications specialists, the DCG research practice, and graphic designers to support this mission-driven work. At large, the team supports various communications, marketing, design, and research initiatives for our federal client in its mission to make our country stronger, safer, and more resilient.

Location: At DCG the majority of our team members, including this role are remote. With over 100 employees based in 23 states (and counting!), DCG is committed to hiring talented employees across the United States. The selected candidate will work during DCG’s core Eastern Standard Time business hours.

Position Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree and at least five (5) years of relevant professional experience supporting communications and marketing campaigns, to include federal clients, preferably at a public relations or marketing firm/agency
  • Experience in developing and executing integrated communications plans through digital and traditional media
  • Experience developing and writing in a variety of communication formats and styles, including but not limited to press releases, blogs, presentations, social media, talking points, and fact sheets, with the ability to grasp tone and voice of the audience
  • Strong knowledge of SEO and web analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to optimize content and monitor website performance.
  • Proficient in content management systems (CMS), HTML, and CSS.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and manage multiple deadlines while communicating effectively across internal and external teams
  • Proven ability to liaise and develop trust and rapport with clients including listening attentively, asking thoughtful questions to better understand their needs, offering solutions, confirming agreed-upon next steps, and setting timelines in alignment with the needs and requirements of the client

  • Knowledge and experience with community-based approaches to prevention (e.g., terrorism, public health, violence, etc.)
  • Experience with social work, threat assessment, public health, policy analysis, or counterterrorism topics
  • DHS public trust clearance
  • Experience supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, Department of Veteran Affairs, or working in the military and/or veteran ecosystem

Scandit’s Business Operations Team is looking for a talented Deal Desk Manager who will deliver excellence in the day-to-day deal structuring and deal approval processes. This is a key function in the sales cycle and will be partnering with Sales, Sales Operations, Finance and Legal functions to explore the value justification and structure, review and approve proposals whilst acting as a trusted adviser to the sales leadership team.

The Deal Desk Manager’s goals are to reduce sales cycles, increase deal size and maintain upsell possibilities to ensure Scandit’s long-term interests.

What you will do

  • Act as a Sales-facing subject matter expert on licensing terms, deal structures, pricing, value justification and customer usage data to get opportunities quickly structured, approved and closed.
  • Support Sales teams in building and positioning proposals for enterprise deals, which involves coordinating other functions involved in the deal structuring process such as Legal, Finance, Product and Product Support.
  • Analyse, evaluate and approve quotes and orders to assure consistency with Scandit’s commercial scheme and find and advise creative solutions for non-standard deal terms
  • Flag deal terms to meet revenue recognition policies and close opportunities to ensure opportunities are correctly updated reflecting the fully executed Order Form
  • Provide input to further develop Scandit’s licensing scheme and opportunity-to-cash process

Samsara’s Compensation Philosophy: Samsara’s compensation program is designed to deliver total compensation (based on role, level, and geography) that is above market. We do this through our base salary + bonus/variable + restricted stock units (RSUs). RSUs are awarded at hire and may be refreshed annually. Additionally, as a pay-for-performance company, there are additional RSU grant awards for top performers which allow employees to achieve higher market positioning.

Summary

  • Set up project repositories for each team. Prepare minutes from team meetings, status updates for management and other reports and updates as requested
  • Develop CIP s with the Program Manager and all cross functional teams to ensure all drafts and final documents are delivered to TSC in a timely fashion. Update leadership on progress and ensure reviews and approvals are obtained by TSC official dates.
  • Work to continually to improve and document the processes for the team.
  • Perform analysis, research and reports as requested by the Program Manager.
  • Provide follow-up support after the project has launched to ensure 100% completion of the project, including onsite review and punch list items.
  • Ensure signage, 5s and other facility set-up items are in order and established.
  • Work with cross-functional teams IE, Dev, Product, EHS, Maintenance, and Engineering to analyze and drive final automation performance, post project.
  • Analyze facility performance data and compare to ROI

Your background:
As a Project Manager, you have:

Strong project management skills, including ability to use capture and track information in an organized fashion.
Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to prepare and lead presentations, meetings, and workshops.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage priorities between them with minimal guidance.
