What’s this team like at Etsy?

  • You’ll join a leadership team that represents all functions that contribute to product development including of user research, product management, data analytics, and engineering
  • You’ll manage a team of designers working on the search experience, and a manager who leads our Etsy Ads product, which allows sellers to market their items in search
  • In addition to working on the search customer experience, you’ll work alongside expert engineers specialized in search ranking, retrieval, localization, and personalization.

What does the day-to-day look like?

  • Collaborating with cross-functional leads to craft the vision, strategy, goals, strategic roadmap, and operations of your initiatives
  • Regularly sharing work with stakeholders to provide visibility; managing relationships and collaboration across product groups working on overlapping parts of the search experience
  • Dedicating time to mentor, coach and sponsor managers and designers on your team; finding or creating career growth opportunities for members your team
  • Ensuring we are building the right products for our customers, and help teams take the best near-term steps toward their long-term vision
  • Leading regular design reviews, critiques, and brainstorming sessions for your teams

About the Role:

This team is responsible for enabling international growth and delivering a world-class streaming experience to our global audiences. Reporting to the Principal Product Manager, International the Senior Product Manager, International will be critical in Tubi’s international expansion. In addition to leading the launches of Tubi in new markets, you will own the roadmap for planning and prioritizing features that drive growth and engagement among international audiences.   • Develop and implement a comprehensive internationalization strategy that addresses the needs of our global customers and drives revenue growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and business operations to ensure the successful execution of Tubi’s initiatives
  • Identify key markets and customer segments and develop product plans that address their specific needs
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for product innovation and market expansion

Your Background/Requirements:

  • Experience shipping consumer-facing products at scale, ideally across multiple platforms (web, mobile, connected TV)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field. MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on internationalization and localization
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in frontend web development with a strong focus on user experience.

  • You have advanced level knowledge of designing, architecting, and developing applications using modern JavaScript technologies in particular using React, Typescript, and SASS.

Samsara’s Compensation Philosophy: Samsara’s compensation program is designed to deliver total compensation (based on role, level, and geography) that is above market. We do this through our base salary + bonus/variable + restricted stock units (RSUs). RSUs are awarded at hire and may be refreshed annually. Additionally, as a pay-for-performance company, there are additional RSU grant awards for top performers which allow employees to achieve higher market positioning.
