As a Senior Software Engineer I, you’ll sit at the intersection of Design, Product, and Engineering as we build a beautiful and intuitive interface to power the self-care industry. You’ll utilize your knowledge of backend systems and your eye for stunning designs to produce unrivaled frontend user experiences, raising the bar of our backend and frontend. You will use cutting-edge technologies and application design patterns to accelerate delivery while improving quality within our consumer-facing client experiences that have >1M monthly users.

What You’ll Do Here:
- Develop clean, testable, and scalable web applications and services using modern technologies such as Elixir, Phoenix, Postgres, React, and GraphQL.
- Build our elegant and performant consumer facing client experiences with 1M+ monthly users
- Write efficient and performant code, placing an emphasis on scalability and time complexity.
- Participate in all aspects of agile software development including design, implementation, peer review, testing and deployment of full stack experiences.
- Collaborate with peers, design, and product to bring to life exceptional experiences.
- Own large initiatives end-end by understanding the purpose, decomposing scopes of work into incrementally deliverable tasks, and executing with the team to meet success criteria

What you’ll need to thrive:
- Programming Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience working on web-based application development using backend technologies such as Elixir/Phoenix or a similar functional programming language as well as frontend technologies such as React or Angular.

As the Boulevard Platform evolves and scales, our Senior Engineers will be responsible for partnering with the team to build a technology strategy that supports both the product roadmap and a built-to-last scalable architecture that reliably enables the span of customer segments, verticals, and wellness marketplace.
As an eCommerce Senior Software Engineer II at Boulevard, you will be responsible for evolving our eCommerce platform to scale to international demand and expand a rapidly growing customer portfolio. You and your team members will continue to expand and develop the eCommerce platform to support multiple verticals and segments in the personal care space. You will participate in the growth of our customer-facing eCommerce experience and grow our existing monetizable product offerings.

We are seeking a Director of Fintech Solutions to lead and manage our fintech solutions platform and drive the company’s fintech strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payment processing, as well as the ability to think strategically, lead a team, and be a thought leader within the company. This person will be responsible for Boulevard’s payments risk and operations team, hardware relationships and business requirements, payment sales enablement, and support team. They will own Boulevard’s payment processing policies and procedures, own key external relationships, and set service level expectations. This person will also be responsible for understanding all applicable laws, regulations and rules, and ensuring the proper controls are in place to maintain compliance. They will help develop and roll out new financial products, payment services, backend automations, policies, and best practices as a key leader in the business.
What You’ll Do Here:
- Lead the development and execution of the company’s fintech solutions strategy
- Direct day-to-day operational functions performed by an engaged set of team members, managing and mentoring a team of payment professionals
- Implement policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations

What You’ll Need To Thrive:

- Deep understanding / subject matter expertise in Payfac solutions, payment gateways and overall credit card transactions flows – including both traditional platforms and modern API platforms.
