Position Overview
The Search Engine Optimization Strategist leads SEO strategy across all Colibri Group websites. This position will assess and optimize websites to improve organic traffic based upon historical performance and best practices. The SEO Strategist will also oversee SEO partners to assist implementation and tactics. This is a key role that reports to the Sr Director of Marketing.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute successful SEO strategies
- Conduct keyword research to guide content teams
- Review technical SEO issues and recommend fixes
- Optimize website content, landing pages and on-page copy
- Direct off-page optimization projects (e.g. link-building)
- Collect data and report on traffic, rankings and other SEO aspects
- Work with marketing managers and paid search teams to optimize cross-functional campaigns
- Keep updated on SEO and integrated marketing trends
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- 4-6 years of relevant experience required
- BS/BA in Marketing, Business, or related field required
- Proven experience as SEO strategist
- Knowledge of standard and current SEO practices
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Experience with SEO reporting

THE ROLE
You are passionate about search engines and SEO. YOU WILL
- Define a multi-phase SEO product roadmap and lead execution, ensuring delivery of great user experiences to both our natural search users and search engine bots

- Collaborate with peer product managers and cross-functional teams to ensure SEO compliance

THE SKILLSET

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to drive alignment and create human-centric experiences that deliver on business and brand strategies, user insights, and technology requirements.
