Title: Software Engineer, Infrastructure (Senior/Staff)

We’re building infrastructure to automatically capture customer interactions on the web and mobile applications, make sense of them, and make them actionable for anyone. We want to enable everyone to understand their millionth customer as well as they understood their first.

We’re looking for a seasoned Infrastructure Engineer to take the lead on some of the most challenging projects on our Platform & Infrastructure teams. As a member of the Platform group, you’ll be responsible for extending and scaling the core platform that runs all of Heap. You’ll remove bottlenecks in our event ingestion pipeline (Kafka / Scala) to help us scale to hundreds of billions of events every day. You’ll optimize and extend the distributed database engine that powers our analytical workloads (Postgres / Citus), and help build a new data lake system for batch querying. You’ll help us break up monolithic services into smaller, more manageable chunks and define more explicit API boundaries and object schemas across Heap services.

For this role, we’re looking to bring on an Infrastructure Engineer to help lead the DevOps side of this challenge. Help us de-risk our stack, add more 9s to our availability, and incorporate open source tooling. We’re looking for more vital software engineering skills than a typical DevOps role requires. This is a building role that focuses on stability, operability, and tooling, not an ops role. You’ll need to be able to understand our codebase and debug issues as they come up.

We’re a distributed team that operates in US West (PT) and Australian (EST) time zones. We’re open to hiring the right person anywhere within those time zones.

    • Serve as an important liaison between our strategy team, company leadership, BU leader, and other functional leaders within the consumer brands business unit

    • Help build and establish systems/processes/frameworks that help the team operate more effectively

About the Role

Kindbody’s Application Manager is responsible for defining product requirements and tracking/executing them to completion. This cross-functional and hands-on leader collaborates and communicates across the organization with multiple stakeholders, utilizing data to prioritize initiatives with the highest ROIs. This is full time remote position.

Responsibilities

The Application Manager guides technology product development across all functional areas and stakeholders (patients, clinicians, and business partners) and across multiple revenue channels (consumer, employer, and managed care).

  • Define

Who You Are

  • Have 3-5 years in Product Development and Management, with increasing levels of leadership and responsibilities, in the healthcare industry
  • Have worked in Agile environments and the SDLC process – Scrum certification would be preferred
  • Have experience setting up and analyzing product metrics utilizing tools (Google Analytics, Segment, Mouseflow, etc)
  • Working knowledge of Jira

What You’ll Do

The Sr Corporate Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of Birdeye’s global public relations, corporate reputation, and organic social media strategy/execution.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic PR and social media initiatives to ensure alignment with business strategy and key corporate goals

Fourth, you will own creating stories around the insights you gather and working with Product Ops to create product personas to help us better understand who we are designing for and how they plan on using our products day to day.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years conducting user research studies in a multidisciplinary team within product-led organization
  • Use data to analyze and optimize user behavior and trends
  • Demonstrated business and/or product impact based on past research
  • Ability to thrive when faced with ambiguity and ability to adapt to changing contexts in a fast-paced environment, working with a variety of stakeholders
  • Ability to design mixed methods approaches that effectively combine quantitative and qualitative methods and determine the right method for the problem
