The Senior Manager contributes to digital product design efforts and solves complex business challenges on large-scale initiatives across several projects simultaneously. This role is an advocate of the user. The Sr. Manager leads and guides and contributes to discovery, experience mapping, Design Sprints, stakeholder coordination, design reviews, provides recommendations, and influences strategic decision-making.

  • Hire and retain contract and full-time Experience Designers
  • Establish annual goals and provide ongoing performance feedback to full-time staff
  • Collaborate with other experience Design, Product, Analytics, Engineering, Marketing, and others to ensure alignment across projects
  • Proactively work with reports to ensure high-quality designs and stakeholder satisfaction
  • Collaborate with other Experience Designer managers
  • Collaborate with Experience Designer team members and product, business, and technology partners to ensure a shared understanding of business and user goals
  • Conceptualize, design, and define breakthrough user experiences, drawing inspiration from research, user goals (Jobs to Be Done), and the world around you
  • Gain stakeholder support for designs by clearly communicating design vision and rationale
  • Translate complex cognitive challenges across multiple journeys into elegant user experiences delivered across multiple channels (digital, phone, in store)
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer journeys, personas, and segmentation within your portfolio of projects

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:

  • Minimum: 115,000
  • Maximum: 230,000

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of experience in experience design team building and leadership involving direct, indirect, and non reports with proven ability to work in a matrix team environment and demonstrate thought leadership and ability to influence where no direct line of control exists

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven ability to improve team process, performance, and culture
  • Ability to keep a focus on strategic goals while executing against short-term objectives
  • Ability to align team members around the ideal digital experience and gain support and commitment

  • Scope and develop data products in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders. For example: create clean data sources, build dashboards, evaluate product experiments.
  • Perform in depth analysis to understand business dynamics, with a particular focus on the enterprise side of the HopSkipDrive marketplace.
  • Build and improve on existing reporting, thus empowering coworkers to make informed decisions and track their performance.
  • Model and advocate for data best practices outside of the Business Intelligence team.
  • Utilize your understanding of Enterprise businesses to provide relevant insights to HopSkipDrive’s client facing teams (Sales, Marketing, Client Operations) in order to help them achieve their business performance goals.

What you bring

Software Engineer – Sensor Research Responsibilities
