JOB SUMMARY
The Sponsorship & Partnership Enablement Specialist plays a pivotal role at Higher Logic and the Higher Education User Group, ensuring that sponsorship programs are seamlessly executed. This position intertwines the essential tasks of managing sponsor relationships, administrative functions, and logistical operations. By ensuring a smooth sponsorship administration, this role directly impacts and supports our revenue objectives, emphasizing the significance of our sponsorship initiatives and the efficiency of our operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Sponsorship Enablement:
- Assist in the execution of sponsorship initiatives by ensuring that deliverables, timelines, and commitments are met.
- Facilitate communication between the company and sponsors, ensuring both parties are well-informed and engaged.
- Coordinate and track sponsorship assets such as branded materials, logos, company description, sponsor event registration, sponsor session content and any promotional content.
- Support in the organization of events, promotions, and campaigns related to sponsorships.
- Help in onboarding new sponsors by providing them with necessary resources and information.
- Ensure that all sponsorship documentation, contracts, and agreements are properly archived and accessible.
Administrative Duties:
- Handle incoming and outgoing communication including emails, phone calls, social post and postal mail.
- Ensure that signed sponsorship agreements are relayed to the finance team, both to record revenue accurately and to initiate the invoicing and payment procedures by the accounting department.
- Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and send reminders for the Executive Director & Director of Partnerships.
- Support the team in the preparation of regular reports and presentations.
- Organize, store, and print company documents as required.
- Perform clerical duties such as data entry, minutes, and record keeping.
- Assist in other ad-hoc administrative tasks as needed.
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communication, or related field.
- Proven experience in communication or customer facing roles, with preference given to candidates with a background in sponsorship activation, event sponsorship, or event planning a plus.
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and an aptitude for quickly adapting to new software; familiar with event and sponsorship management technology.
- Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.

- Partner with the Design Director to ensure that designers are working as efficiently as possible to support ELA’s design requirements
