You will go beyond the checklist in a project plan and become thought partners with leaders to proactively solve problems before they become risks. As the technical program team grows, you will help keep other team members updated on critical information and take on larger, more complex initiatives including outside the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide program management leadership to initiatives that impact all of engineering
- Partner with engineering and product management to deliver, execute, track, and measure improvements to gain operational and cost efficiencies
- Be the point of contact for project communication regarding status, schedule, and scope updates, and progress towards target outcomes (i.e. key results)
- Identify areas of optimizations and make recommendations to engineering teams to increase engineering efficiency
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as Technical Program Manager
- Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects iteratively with multiple dependencies and constraints, in a highly dynamic and agile environment
- Solid understanding of the software development process ideally as a software engineer or engineering manager.
- Proven ability to operate effectively manage across multiple teams in situations of extreme ambiguity, with only high level direction
- Experience building roadmaps, release plans, project plans with a thorough understanding of dependency management
- Ability to communicate highly technical problems and solutions at all levels from engineer to executives
- Ability to influence, negotiate and inspire others in a matrixed environment
- Experience is building dashboards and using data to make informed decisions
- Excellent organization, planning skills, and attention to detail

Senior Product Manager, Marketing Technology Planning and Enablement

Purpose of Role
The immediate opportunity is to work in Under Armour’s Global MarTech Planning & Enablement team, collaborating with Engineering, Technology, Data and Marketing to ensure the business is fully leveraging the platform capabilities of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and our Customer Data Platform (CDP) to execute multiple CRM / SFMC use cases.
This role will be tasked with helping Under Armour transform CRM and personalization capabilities by ensuring that the Marketing/Analytics team are able to tap into the wealth of Customer first-party data and help establish multichannel CRM as a key driver of top-of-funnel brand advocacy as well as direct conversion growth.
This role is critical to enable marketing teams around the globe to get the most out of our technology investments and data assets. You will be a leader and a teacher, creating innovative solutions as well as providing support structure to scale those solutions globally. Your Impact
- Manage both Customer Engagement (CE) and CDP end-to-end Intake process from submission through prioritization through discovery and ultimately to delivery
- Collaborate with Global/Regional Marketing & Technology teams to execute/enable CRM, Personalization, and Loyalty strategies
- Prioritize the CDP and CE product backlog and collaborate with all Technology stakeholders to ensure that products/features launched will drive our business forward and increase revenues
- Develop and implement new capabilities/use cases in CDP to build a single, coherent, and complete view of each customer. These use cases will serve as foundation to execute personalization and loyalty campaign strategies
- Understand and establish connections between global and regional Marketing & Technology teams
- Organize rapid test & learn initiatives that establish global CRM best-practices and expand our “playbook”
- Ensure integrity of data within our CDP/SFMC, treating data as an asset and privacy as an imperative
- Support the adoption of CDP/SFMC among regional teammates and facilitate their proficiency
- Troubleshoot issues related to HTML templates, list segmentation, audience targeting, tracking and other aspects of email execution, as required
- Demonstrate ability to understand basic technical concepts and negotiate use cases / features tradeoffs with all key stakeholders while balancing resource/budget constraints & conflicting enterprise priorities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with typically 10 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree with typically 8 years of relevant experience OR typically 14 years of relevant experience without degree
- Strong understanding of SFMC methodology, which includes both implementation/set up and expertise in email campaign development
- Experience with SFMC multi-channel capabilities, i.e., Email Studio (Exact Target), Marketing Cloud Personalization (MCP), Mobile Studio, etc. is required
- Experience in developing reusable content components in SFMC and setting up Triggered (real-time) emails using MCP
- Experience with CSS and HTML for email creation; Knowledge of basic SQL, including join statements
- Expert knowledge of responsive email development principles and ability to create HTML content to work across different browsers and email programs
- Exposure to Contact Builder, Audience Builder and MCP Einstein
- Strong writing skills with the ability to create documentation for both business and technical stakeholders
