Job Summary: As a Racksapce Cloud Architect you’ll support Professional Services engagements with engineering muscle’ and technical consultation assistance, to help customers design systems that are purpose-built and well suited to their target infrastructure. Responsible for implementing and leading the implementation of technical solutions, customer migrations (rolocations, colocations, consolidations, cloud migrations), and data center modernizations as outlined in the Statement of Work. Seeks to build and document reusable, repeatable toolsets, components and modules for future use with other clients. Serves as the lead engineer on complex projects. Collaborate with consultants to align customer business strategies and IT architecture, ensuring Rackspace products and services are built and delivered in a sustainable and scalable manner. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement migration solutions as defined by SOWs and migration plans.
  • Monitor, log and test customer configurations for performance and stability.
  • Coordinate and consult with SAs and Sales teams to further streamline and detail out the build, deploy and management process for scoping and design of new and updated systems being deployed into the Rackspace ecosystem or other ecosystems.
  • Proactively identify potential issues and work through resolution with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with consultants to ensure customer configurations are built and delivered with long-term sustainability and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis and performance tuning. Implement new technologies in customer environments, including upgrades, virtualization projects, and advanced infrastructure projects.
  • Perform network analysis for client networks, identify deficiencies, recommend and implement improvements for stabilization.
  • Generate and maintain configuration documents for all client production networks and systems.
  • Work with external customers, internal support and build teams to determine how best to leverage tools and techniques involving infrastructure as code, configuration management and other DevOps-type techniques to improve delivery quality, speed and experience.
  • Network with key contacts and stakeholders internally and externally to drive process and efficiency in implementations.
  • Serve as a technical expert for support and customers alike. Actively take ownership to address issues and solve problems, understanding up and downstream impacts and designing/delivering solutions appropriately.
  • Serve as a mentor to other engineers. Develop and implement best practices for team processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related technical field. Advanced degree preferred. Additional experience may substitute for the degree requirement at a rate of 3 years of experience for 1 year of education.
  • 10+ years of industry experience in technical engineering and/or pre or post sales engineering and architecture.
  • Expert knowledge of OS technologies for customer configuration: Windows, RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.
  • Deep knowledge of more than one IaaS platform(s) – AWS (preferred), Azure, Google, VMWare.
  • Advanced knowledge with more than one configuration management tools.
  • Advanced understanding of infrastructure automation tooling (terraform, cloud formation, etc.).
  • Advanced understanding of application deployment/configuration processes.

OBUSA’s Content Producer is responsible for branded content creation in a variety of channels including social media, website, email marketing, and the blog. The Content Producer supports all marketing campaigns, promotions, and brand communications and performs other marketing duties as needed.

Functions and Responsibilities

Content Creation

  • Coordinate and develop content that aligns Outward Bound USA as an expert in education, to foster lead generation, generate overall brand equity, and in support of annual brand campaigns and content calendars.
  • Manage photo selection, brand voice, and creative assets for each channel, in alignment with established brand style guide.
  • Produce and edit native short-form video content.
  • Support the content pipeline by filming video and capturing photography on location at Regional Schools. Professional film/photography skills a plus, but not required.
  • Organize, share, and inventory content from Regional Schools inside Digital Asset Management tool (DAM).
  • Create social media graphics and design content using branded design templates in tools like Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Capture, inventory, and distribute student and stakeholder testimonials from across the OB Network.
  • Assist in copywriting for the OBUSA blog and thought leadership content.

Social Media Management

  • Support national Outward Bound social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and LinkedIn by creating and posting organic content created by the Brand & Marketing Team or for other departments within the organization.
  • Engage with the Outward Bound social media community by monitoring and responding to feedback and/or conversations happening across our channels.
  • Assist in supporting and building our digital community by maintaining relationships with alumni, staff, established partners, industry leaders, and/or relevant influencers on social media.
  • Maintain a social media content schedule that corresponds to national campaigns and promotions.

  • Support the Brand & Marketing Team in achieving overall strategic goals.
