The Director of Software Engineering will work with multiple teams within the Technology organization. This person will provide domain expertise, oversee process improvements, and deliver on team projects. The Director of Software Engineering will work cross functionally with the company’s product development, infrastructure, security, and software development teams to provide customer-centric solutions and build a world-class service-oriented architecture for the Accurate ordering platforms to meet the exploding growth of the company and business demands. This individual plays a key role within the end-to-end phase of software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee several key groups with the Technology organization including the QA, Release, and Application Support teams.
  • Establish domain expertise and best practices in each of the aforementioned teams.
  • Define and oversee metrics and objectives that will drive teams towards success
  • Possess a clear understanding of the software development lifecycle, particularly around quality, release, and production support.
  • Work collaboratively with Engineering and Infrastructure teams to foster a one-team mindset.
  • Establish communication standards within Technology and the greater company business units

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent education/experience.
  • 8+ years in the software development discipline
  • Participated in multiple areas of the software development process
  • Solid understanding of the Agile or SCRUM development process and software release processes.
  • Must be a self-starter who is highly organized, hands-on, and a team player.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, startup environment.
  • Experience working with cloud-based technologies such as AWS.
  • Detail oriented, with strong written and verbal communication.

About the Role:

Demandbase is seeking an Advertising Campaign Strategist to join our team. The Campaign Strategist is instrumental in providing value to our clients and integral to growing our business. The role of the Advertising Campaign Strategist is to ensure that assigned clients are highly satisfied and find value in Demandbase’s solutions.

The base compensation range, not including bonus) for this role is: $60,000 – $109,000

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage display, mobile, and video advertising campaigns from pre-sale to post-live idle.
  • Track and improve on performance metrics to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Prepare and execute campaign project plans and timely progress reports.
  • Coordinate campaign setup with ad operations, creative and list services teams.
  • Monitor campaign pacing and performance; suggest optimizations as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to develop, maintain, and broaden client relationships.
  • Develop compelling client-facing presentations, best practices, and processes documents.
  • Serve as a B2B Account-Based Advertising expert for both clients and Demandbase colleagues.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in digital advertising, ideally with B2B focus
  • Strategic level experience in a customer-facing account management role serving mid-market and enterprise customers
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate success against target metrics.
  • Strong technical skills, especially with Salesforce, Excel, and PowerPoint

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as a key member of the new client onboarding team
  • Take a central role in welcoming new clients to Driven Insights and overhauling their accounting function to encompass Driven Insights’ best practices
  • Observe, manage, and refine revenue cycle (order to cash) processes
  • Observe, manage, and refine expense management processes
