Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Product Marketing Manager, the Content Specialist will develop and execute content strategies that support our GTM motions and marketing campaigns. This role will work closely with stakeholders across teams to create engaging and informative content that resonates with our target audience for each product. Key responsibilities include:

  • Market Research
    • Conduct market analysis to identify key trends, opportunities, and challenges in our target industries
    • Collect competitive intelligence by analyzing competitors’ products, pricing, and marketing strategies
    • Connect with customers about their product experience and extract insights into challenges faced, solutions provided, and the impact of our product on their business
  • Content Creation
    • Partner with Sr. Product Marketing Manager to develop content strategy
    • Develop briefs and create content including case studies, blog posts, e-books, battlecards, and other marketing and sales enablement collateral to showcase our solutions
    • Collaborate with team to craft clear and compelling copy for our products
    • Optimize content for SEO, in conjunction with internal team and external agencies
  • Project Management
    • Serve as primary contact for content agencies
    • Project manage content creation, feedback, timelines, and deliverables with the marketing team, internal stakeholders, and external agencies
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Sales Enablement, Product, and other stakeholders as needed to gather insights and feedback
    • Manage a content calendar to ensure a consistent flow of content aligned with GTM motions and digital marketing campaigns
    • Oversee marketing content within Seismic
  • Analytics and Reporting
    • Monitor content performance using Seismic and with other analytics tools
    • Create reports and overviews to share with key stakeholders
    • Provide insights and actionable steps to refine and optimize content strategy

Purpose of Role
