As the Associate Manager, of Copywriting at Cars Commerce, you will oversee a team of copywriters responsible for leading and cultivating our creative copywriting team serving the cross-departmental digital marketing and advertising products, SEO content and optimization, and editing services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Regularly audit standard operational processes and guidelines including quotas, timelines, and internal project details to ensure delivery and manage employee performance
- Create, analyze, and Identify areas of opportunities for production and workflows while understanding and sustaining key performance metrics
- People management including mentoring, performance reviews, improvement plans, career development
- Communicate and support our company and departmental goals and values
- Facilitate employee growth and development through weekly team meetings, regular individual employee meetings, coaching, training, and other learning opportunities

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Demonstrable process improvement and performance management experience

About the Role
As an Associate Project Manager, you play a vital role on our Implementation and Client Services team. You will be responsible for facilitating projects, ensuring project initiatives and timelines are met, and providing support to our valued clients throughout their implementation and post-implementation journey. JOB SUMMARY
In this position, the Digital Advertising Associate will work to strengthen ACE’s role and impact in advocating for an end to the era of fossil fuels, a swift and equitable transition to renewable energy, and an increase in diverse youth participation in our democracy.
The scope of responsibilities will include but is not limited to: creating and managing digital advertising campaigns across a variety of digital advertising platforms to drive web traffic and conversions; developing ad copy and creative; reviewing paid media data and providing ongoing campaign feedback; implementing optimization strategies and methods.
This is a full-time, remote position based in the United States. The Digital Advertising Strategist will work from home, meet regularly by video chat with ACE team members and partners, and conduct the majority of activities both online and in-person, when safe. The Digital Advertising Strategist must be available for travel within the United States, to participate in staff retreats and/or conferences.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Associate Director of Paid Media and other stakeholders across various departments in setting up, monitoring, and auditing our paid advertising programs across multiple channels, including various social media streams, such as Meta, Google Ads, YouTube, programmatic, and more.
- Manage campaigns, audiences, ads, tracking assets, and processes across paid traffic sources.
- Develop ad creative and copy and provide feedback to other teams and vendors that assist in developing creative.
- Coordinate with our social media and creator teams to boost and repurpose content for digital ads.
- Communicate campaign learnings to key stakeholders and provide recommendations to the team to optimize both targeting and/or creative elements.
- Keep on top of local and national policies, campaigns, and related trends within digital marketing ecosystems like TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in the digital marketing or digital organizing field
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to set priorities, and complete work and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills and creativity and can take big-picture strategy and couple it with strategic implementation.

In this role you will have the opportunity to work in an exciting, fast-paced environment on literary fiction, poetry, non-fiction, offsets, and paperback conversions for the Ecco, Dey Street Books, William Morrow Cookbooks, and Harper Voyager imprints. The Designer will be responsible for all stages of interior book design for assigned titles, from manuscript to bound books, and will work on projects of all levels of complexity with a focus on general books/adult trade. This position reports to the Senior Design Manager.
Hybrid Monmouth Junction, NJ or remote location status will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Designs mostly 1-color book interiors with the opportunity to work on 4-color interiors as per Design Manager’s discretion.
- Prepares and routes design samples for approval.
- Creates tight InDesign templates for composition group to page books downstream. Reviews page proofs at various stages and inputs text corrections using InDesign.
- Designs 1-color and 4-color photo inserts, binding die mechanicals and spec materials for cases and endpapers.
- Manages art program for assigned titles under supervision (as needed): evaluates digital images for good print quality; reviews and marks-up art proofs to ensure best print quality.
- Collaborates with design manager on design concepts. Works closely with editors, production editors, production, and composition teams. Opportunity to work directly with authors.
- Under supervision, commissions independent contractors (mapmakers and illustrators); negotiate fees, generates graphic artist contracts, and processes invoices, as needed.
- Meets deadlines, monitor components, keeps accurate status reports on Teams, and tracks budgets for assigned titles.
- Works on offsets from outside publishers as well as paperback conversions: updates frontmatter, inputs text corrections, adjusts pages and photo inserts to fit new US trim size.
- Traffics files via our RSuite workflow system and other file transfer systems.
- Accesses, downloads, and archives files utilizing our Digital Access Management System.
- Assists with work overflow from Senior Designers and the Design Manager, and other groups within the department, when needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of book interior design experience (preferable), or related graphic design experience
- Collaborative demeanor and a team-player
- Must demonstrate proficiency with Adobe InDesign on a Mac
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and/or Adobe Illustrator a plus
